I put one hand against my stomach and held onto Alex with another.

"What's going on?" Aurora said. Then something exploded and threw her against the staircase.

"Aurora!" I screamed. The explostion knocked Alex's head against the wall, he was bleeding. "Alex!" I shouted and grabbed Lucas and craddled him to my breast. The babies kicked and I screamed in pain, there was a horrible wind that felt like we were in a hurricane.

Aurora:

I whimpered. it hurt! What in the world was happening?!

alex:

I groaned. I felt immense pain. suddenly everything went black. I was out.

Robyn

The wind stopped, and Lucas started crying horribly.

"Shhh, shhh!" I said kissing his sweet little face. I turned Alex's face to mine, he was still alive. Thank godness! I wiped the blood and looked at Aurora, she was rubbing the back of her skull. I put Alex's head softly on a pillow I had gotten off of the couch. Lucas was stomping his feet and crying even louder, I got up, it was difficult but I managed it. I picked up Lucas and put him on my hip, I looked down at Alex worriedly. All of a sudden I looked up to see a dark figure, I would know who he was in hman form or dead, I stared into the eyes of the man I had killed 11 months earlier...

"Sam?" I whispered. He was different than I had remembered. His hair was longer, his eyes were an icy blue, he had stubble. "Your so pale." I said.


Sam

"Ditto, it kind of what happens when your dead. what's wrong with you it looks like you've seen a ghost." I laughed.

She searched my face with big widenend eyes.

I looked down at the little tike in her arms, "this is the little guy? Well, the big guy." I looked her body up and down. "Your pregnant AGAIN?" I laughed. "Gosh have you and Alex never heard of 'protection'?" I laughed. "Everytime I see you your pregnant. Where is she?" I asked.

"She's knocked out, on the stairs." she looked worriedly at Aurora. "Are you sure it was the right thing to do, to come back?" She asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know." I patted her stomach and then walked to find Aurora I picked up her tense body, and then carried her to her bed.

I set her down and watched her sleep. Within three hours of watching her, she came awake.

"Sam?" She asked still drowsy. "This is another dream, isn't it? Why are they so cruel to me?" She cried.

"It's not a dream." I said kissing her brow.

"Your here." She whispered her eyebrows arching.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Your really here." She asked.

"Yes, I came back for you, sweetheart." I said kissing her on her mouth...

Alex:

I woke up drowsily to a little boy looking down at me. I smiled at Lucus.

Aurora:

I tried not to cry. "Oh Sam!" I whimpered. "I've missed you so much."

Robyn

I watched Alex as his eyes fluttered. I had an ice pack on his hand and Lucas was trying to peel his eyes opened.

Alex groaned.

"Hey baby, are you ok?" I asked.

He shook his head slowly.

"What and the hell just happened?" He asked.

"You hit your head." I kissed his forehead.


Sam

She was kissing me then all of a sudden she slapped me.

"How could you leave me?!" She growled.

Alex:

I groaned. "Is aurora oky?! how about all the babies?!" I groaned. "Ughw What the hell happeed?! an earthquake?! Is it over?! why does it hurt?!" I groaned again and felt blood.

aurora:

He looked at me shocked. "You shouldn't have left!" I whimpered, then I was crying. "Sam...why did you leave?!"

Sam

"I'm not going to apologize if thats what your asking." I replied truthfully.

She whimpered, that was the last thing I want to see her do. I was made to love her and I hurt her in so many different ways.

"I had to leave, you know that. I had to give you time."

"What about the wedding?" She asked.

"I still love you, you know that's never changed. But, you needed to know."

"Know what?" She cried.

"That you could still survive without me." I answered.


Robyn

I looked down at my rounded stomach. "The babies are fine, it's just..." I looked away.

"What? Is Aurora ok?" He asked.

I felt my face twist in pain as I stared at him. "Sam came back." I answered.

I knew Alex was going to kill him.

Aurora:

I held myself tightly and just cried. it hurt so much. I couldn't believe he had done that! I couldn't believe he was back.

"This has to be a dream." I sobbed. "It can't be real...it just...can't!"

alex:

I hissed. "Is he trying to kill her?!" I growled. I tried to stand up and cursed. "Stupid head." I hissed.

Robyn

"Honey, now before you do anything drastic."

"I'm gonna kill him!" He growled standing up again.

I put my hands on his chest and looked up at him.

"No what your going to do is march your butt back to that bed and lay down." I said. "I think we might have to take you to the hospital." I said wiping a smear of blood off his forehead.

Sam

"I'm here... I'm here." I gasped.

Alex:

I growled. "No! I'm not going to a hospital! I'm going to kick his butt! I'm fine! How dare he?! He's trying to kill her!!!!" I puhed her hands off me and tried to go up the stairs...and callapsed.

Aurora:

I just held myself tightly. "No. No your not real...your just a figment of my imagination. Your not real. You canzt be real. You left. YOU LEFT ME! You hurt me. your not real. nothing so sweet would come back...Your not real." I just sobbed.

Sam

"I'm real, I'm here, your not dreaming." I held her close but she ran before I could.

"YOUR NOT REAL!!!!!!!" She yelled and fell against the door and started balling.

I had no idea how to convince her, I wanted her to know how much I love her and how much she ment to me, but I had done a number on her, how could I ever expect her to forgive me?

Robyn

Alex groaned. I bent my knees and tried to pick him up, Lucas behind me staring at Alex in awe. I snaked my arm around Alex's shoulders.

"Your not going anywhere. Your so stubborn you know that?" I said softly, I put a hand against the small of my back. "And you need to relax." I winced when one of the twins kicked.

Aurora:

I fell into his arms sobbing. I had no idea if he was staying...or if he'd be gone when I opened my eyes, but I clung to him tightly, as if my life depended on it. He was so real. he felt real...he even smelled like Sam...well, as much as I could remember. "Don't leave." I whimpered.

Alex:

I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Hey, kids, be still in your mom. she's in enough pain as it is!" I groaned. "Ugh. stupid sam. did he have to come back in an earthquake?!"

Robyn

"I don't even know if Sam knew he was coming back." I shrugged.

Sam

I kissed the top of her head and held her.

"I am HERE." I told her again and again and again.

Alex:

"Warning might've been nice." I groaned. "Do we have any ice?"

aurora:

I finally stopped and looked up. He was still there. He was still holding me just like I remebered. "Sam?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"That was a very jerkish move."
