What songs would play in the background if your life were a movie?
"And I am a writer
writer of fiction
I am the heart that you call home
And I've written pages upon pages
Trying to rid you from my bones...
Let me go if you don't love me" ~The Decembrists "Engine Driver"

A Rush Of Blood To the Head, Coldplay
Anything But Ordinary, Avril Laveigne

Especially the latter. That's what I am...

Oh songs, I thought soundtracks from movies. Well, again, songs from those movies I cant remember their names.

Hm. Tough question. I think I'd have to open it with "Underground" by David Bowie, and perhaps his more recent song from his CD Heathen, "Afraid." As things get more optomistic, I switch over to songs by Seal, like "Prayer for the Dying" and "Bring it On", plus R Kelly's song "I believe I can Fly."

Other songs I'd include are "Yume" a Japanese song from Gundam X, "Brand New Day" from Rainbow Bright, "Always Another Rainbow" from My Little Pony, and I'd close with "The Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie.

As you can see, I have a thing about rainbows.
Please, sit down before you fall down.

Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack when I'm dealing with drama (most of the time)
Harry Potter soundtracks for when I'm writing about Crysi's younger life
Lord of the Rings sountracks for when I'm writing later parts in my novel
Star Wars soundtracks for when I'm focused on band or other competitions
and last but not least, Bowser's theme from Super Mario 64 for when I'm in a total kick-ass mood. Which is most of the time. ;)

Hehe. We got the point, Arvandor!

For me:

"American Girl" by Tom Petty. I swear this song was written about me. No one seems to believe me though.
"Well, she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin'
That there was a little more to life somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
And if she had to die tryin'
She had one little promise she was gonna keep"

"The Places You've Come to Fear the Most" by Dashboard Confessional.
"You can't fake it hard enough to please everyone, or anyone at all."

"What a Scene" by the Goo Goo Dolls

"And all the beautiful images lining your walls
Pop radio screaming down the halls
And now you think you found something real
When it's all about money and the things that you need
Live a big lie and they all believe
And I just find that somehow obscene"

"Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison
I have brown eyes! Hehe.

Go you, Arvy... *laughs*

Songs of my life... well, I would have to play Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway for my older sister, because I swear that's her song. It fits her perfectly. I'd play Simple Plan's Welcome to My Life when I'm having a bad day at work, LOL... that'd work.

Hmm... what else... Counting Crow's Accidentially In Love for after I've been hanging out with a certain person...

That's all I can really think of right now. I'll have to get back to you later.

Areida, did Mesh ever tell you that her cousin is the lead singer of the Counting Crows? We're always joking about the "tarantula" on his head... He's crazy.

A vapour sometimes like a bear or lion,
A towered citadel, a pendant rock,
A forked mountain, or blue promontory,
With trees upon't that nod unto the world,And mock our eyes with air.."

Ooh, I forgot Frank Sinatra! Under My Skin, The Tender Trap, and You Make Me Feel So Young. Also Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. And the overture to Phantom of the Opera.
