You're dead. You don't know how or why. You wake up and find yourself in darkness. You soon come to find out that you have 30 days to come back to earth - although, not with a body.

You come back to haunt. You come back to haunt - and kill, if necessary - those that made you this way. Maybe you want to visit your family. Maybe you want to get that sweet feeling of revenge on the one that killed you. Maybe you want to tell everyone you're dead, but you're still there.

It's up to you what you do for your 30 days. Make them worth it, because each post is one day. Make them worth it.

RULES:

- You have a grand total of thirty posts.

- You may only have one character.

- This is not a fantasy storybook. This is real life. This is happening in 2008.

- You are a spirit/ghost. You may not have a physical body. Make everything realistic.

- Make your posts count. Once you run out, you're done.

- Use proper English/grammar. I absolutely can't stand it when SB's can't hold a decent grammar writing.

Name:

Age:

Cause of Death:

I don't believe in including physical characteristics, because we are ghosts. We don't have a physical body anymore. And also, we don't need to list our personality. We need to have it show through our character's voice.

Thanks for reading this. It's costing me 500 points. :(

Awesome. We have [s]three [/s] four characters all ready!

Name: Blade Smith

Name: Elizabeth

Age: 14

Cause of Death: Her brother (Alex) was swimming in the pool outside her house. He pretended to drown, and Elizabeth jumped in to save him, despite the fact that she couldn't swim herself. Samantha (her mom), got Alex out of the pool, but when Elizabeth cried out for help, she refused to believe that she was really drowning because Elizabeth was ill favored. Soon Samantha walked away, bringing Alex with her, leaving Elizabeth to drown.

-

Let's get some more characters and then we will start.

Okay, because every post is a day, be sure that you cover a whole day. In short, make each post at least 1 MS Word page. This will turn out to be quite cool if we get it all finished. It won't take that long to finish, anyway.

Please make sure:

Everyone must be on the same day. You cannot have one character on day four while another is on day two. They all must be on the same day. It will be easier this way, and not as complicated.

Sorry, that was probably the longest summery of a death I've ever given.
I realized that I said I'd be gone for only two weeks...but I was gone for much longer.I hope to stay on this time. :)

Awesome, Count me in, Jared! :) Question: Can the ghost/spirits interact with each other? And for the days, I suggest we have sometime at the top like:

(name), Day 1

So we know we are all on the same day, and when everyone finishes that, you can move on.

Name: Lawrence Saw (Female)

Age: 20

Cause of Death: Was murdered by someone who seemed familiar, but she couldn't remember who it was, (Person came to her house, and strangled her to death. Find out more about this person later.)
[Griffinkeeper] 10:45 pm: The guard appears "We have weasels now!"
[Firearris] 10:45 pm: askes the guard for the weasel!
[Griffinkeeper] 10:45 pm: The guard gives Firearris the Weasel.
[Firearris] 10:46 pm: aquires the weasel and renames it "Cat"

Take that, Lumi.

Yes, we can all interact with spirits, but not humans. We can touch them, and they will feel a slight breeze or something, but we can't converse with humans.

Us, dead guys, can talk to each other.

Here we go!

Blade Smith, Day 1

I barely remember dying. It all happened so quickly. I didn’t even realize what was going on. I was just driving. Yeah, just driving down Interstate 79. It was raining. Yes, I remember the rain.

It was raining like hell. I had the wipers going as fast as they could, but it still wasn’t enough. The rain clogged the window like veins, barely viable on their own.

I didn’t hear the first honk – or the second. I didn’t hear anything, and I never would again. It was a sudden death – the way that I would like to have gone in the first place. I never even felt it collide into me.

The drunk was never heard from again.

It’s an interesting process, dying. It’s something you only get to experience once, and for me, it went by all to quickly. I was dead, but not really.

Death said something about thirty days back on earth. I had asked it, “I get to live another thirty days?”

Death shook its head. I wouldn’t have a body. I would be a spirit – a ghost. Death would send me down to earth for one mission: to haunt and kill.

*

I was on my front porch. It was still raining. I could hear Jessie in the kitchen. Was she crying? Why would she be crying? I reached my hand out to open the door, but it went through the wood. Gasping, I pulled back and looked at my hand. There was nothing strange about it. I reached for the door again, and the same thing happened. It went through the door.

I bit my lip and put my foot through the door. Then the other. The wood passed through my invisible body as if I weren’t even there. I’m dead. Oh, God. I’m really dead.

I heard Jessie whisper my name. “Blade… oh, Blade…” Her hand was on her forehead and I could see the tears dripping from her eyes. The phone was laying next to her hand.

“Jessie. Jessie, I’m right here. Don’t worry,” I whispered and pulled my arms around her. My arms glided through her body. She didn’t even flinch.
“No. No! Please! Let me touch her! I need to touch her!”

Her head lifted up. She had heard something.

“B – Blade?” Her voice was softer than a whisper.

“Yes!” I cried. “Yes, I’m here! Look at me! Can you hear me?”

Her eyes wandered around the room, lost and frightened. “Is someone in here?”

“I’m in here! Please!” I could feel the tears stinging my eyes. “Jessie, look at me! Just look at me!”

Jessie wiped her nose on her arm and then dug her face into her hands. I could hear her sniffling.

“Jessie, I’m here.” I placed my hand gently on her arm. “Can’t you feel me?”

As soon as I touched her, she looked up. She was looking at me.

“Is someone here? Please, just answer me! I can hear you, whoever you are!”

“Jessie, it’s me! You’re hearing me! Blade! Remember? Don’t you remember me?” I cried and touched her again. She withdrew her arms.

“This isn’t funny,” she whispered and wiped her nose again. She grabber her car keys and headed out the front door. “I’m leaving. Just go away. Please…”

Her eyes met mine. I knew she saw me. Was it that extra moment that her eyes rested in mine? Or was it that way that her eyes lit up? Whatever it was, she turned around and went into her car. I couldn’t follow her. I wasn’t quick enough.

I slowly walked back into the house and looked at the phone. On the recent calls, it read: POLICE DEPT.

JUDE FORD< DAY1

"Jude!" it was Dean screaming her name that brought her back from the silence. She was still sitting in the chair she had been working in when the bullet hit her. She was still breathing but she was losing so much blood. Her body was shaking and sweaty and she fell to the floor.

When the bullet first hit her, she didn't feel anything, just shock. The sound of the world had disappeared along with all feeling. Then Dean's voice hit her and brought the sound and the pain back.

He was holding her barely alive body in his lap now, "Somebody call 911!" He yelled as people gathered around. She smiled at him and put his face in her hand, "Oh God Jude, hold on okay, just hold on we're gunna get you help."

I nodded and grimaced in pain and he pulled me closer to him, pressing our foreheads together, "I'm sorry Dean, I didn't mean wh-what I said. I do love you, I've always loved you. And you do have nice hair" she tried to smile and he smiled too.

"I know, I know, I love you too. Just try not to move." He ran his fingers through her hair and her eyes fluttered, "Stay awake Jude, you have to stay awake."

"It's too late."

"No don't say that." Then her body fell limp, just as the ambulance pulled up outside the recording studio. Tears fell from Dean's eyes and he refused to give her lifeless body up to the EMT workers.

"Sir, you need to let go now." The girl said pulling his arms from around Jude's body. Jude's best friend, Sammie, put her hand on Dean's shoulder and he looked up into her teary eyes. They loaded Jude's body into the ambulance as Dean and Sammie sat crying, Dean covered in blood.
---------------------------------------------

Jude was sitting in a dark room that appearead to have no begining and no end. She was on a black sofa and her gunshot wound and all the blood was gone. She watched her death play over and over on a television in front of her. She watched the man who murdered her come in and leave countless times, without anyone noticing his escape. They were all too busy crowding around her. She didn't know who the man was or why he killed her. She didn't doubt it had something to do with her father.

"Thirty days." A voice came from behind her. She turned and looked into the face a young man, the only thing that would tell you he wasn't a person where his completely black eyes.

"Who are you?" A sly smile slid across his face.

"I am death." He said walking around the couch and kneeling in front of her.

"Am I going to hell?" She didn't feel fear around this man, he had a kind face. That's probably what they meant when they said 'The road to hell is paved with good intentions.' She looked into his eyes while he thought.

"That depends.."

"Depends on what?"

"That depends on what you do with your thirty days."

"Where?"

"On earth." He held up his finger before she could talk, "Not alive, you won't have a body. You will haunt and kill." Another sly smile decorated his face. He reached up and turned her hands in his palms them moved her face from side to side, almost examining her, sizing her up.

"Kill?" Her voice shook when she said the word, his hand was still on her face.

"Don't be afraid, everything will be alright." Then the unending room and the sofa and the television and the man where gone. She was standing outside in the rain. A black mass of people where huddled around one spot. She noticed she was in a grave yard.

She was at her funeral.

She walked straight through people, and didn't seem to be getting wet at the rain dtops fell right through her. Soon she was reading her tombstone, HER tombstone. She stood behind it as they lowered the casket in, searching all the familiar faces of the people she had known in her life. Everyone was crying. And then she saw him, her killer.

She started screaming but no one could hear her, "He's right there! Get him! He's right there!" She ran over to Dean whose bloodshot eyes where searching for a sound he didn't really hear, he hadn't been right since her death though. "Dean get him he is right there behind you!" She was screaming into his face but he could only hear incomprehensable whispers in the wind. She began to cry as everyone left, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't stop her killer.

Dean was the last to leave and she followed him home, to his small house just outside of L.A. She sat next to him in his car and watched the silent tears fall from his eyes, every time she touched him he flinched. It was darker when they pulled up to his house and she remembered the last time they had been there alone at night. It was why the hadn't been on talking terms the day they met. Jude was the producer and Dean was the singer, it wasn't professional for them to have a relationship. Sometimes things just happen.

She sat on the end of his bed as he undressed from his wet clothes and got ready for bed. He sat down at his desk in only boxer shorts and started writing. She watched him with furroughed brows as he signed the letter. Then he set the letter in an envelope against a picture of the two of them on his dresser. Then he opened the top drawer and reached under the socks to pull out a small black gun.

"Dean no!" She screamed leaping off the bed. He put the revolver to his head, his hand shaking.

"Jude I don't know what to do with out you here. I love you! I need you, I can't - can't be here without you."

"Dean don't be stupid, you're stronger than that." She walked closer to him knowing he had only been talking to the picture not really to her. She lightly wrapped herself around him and Dean tensed up. Jude reached up and pulled the hand Dean was holding the gun in away from his head. "Good boy Dean." She said as he put the gun away and got into bed.

For the second time Jude fell asleep next to Dean, he just didn't know it.
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, and I promise you something great will come of it.

Kaytee Hofling)

"Kaytee!" I heard Ava yell, she was always so full of life. I always though. We were trying to think of ways to save up for collage, that meant no more shopping at the malls or buying ringtones for our cell.

"I'll be there in just a sec!" I called over to her. We worked at a private school so of course we wore uniforms. we were hunting out in my backyward with was a good 5 miles since we lived in the outskirts Montana. Where they had alot of land.

"Hurry up slow poke we're going to have to make dinner with your mom again. And you know I hate fish."Ava joked, her voice was so far away. The stupid thing I did was wear black instead of orange.

"I'll be there I said!" I yelled walking slowly. "You know when we get enough money for collage our lives are going to change like that." I snapped my fingers and heard a the gun go off. I as stunned in silence as I looked down at my hands-they were stained with blood... my blood.

"Ah Kaytee... I think that was my gun. Where do you think the bullet went?" Ava said and walked toward this way.

I whimpered and saw her walked towards me, she fell on her knees and covered her mouth as her eye grew wide. I fell to the ground, may hair in my face. She raced over, her boney legs shaking.

"Oh God Kaytee. I'm so sorry! Ohmigod... What am I going to do... hang on Kaytee!!!" She yelled. "Oh God." She tried to cover my wound with her small hands within seconds her hands were covered, within minutes so was she. "Kaytee hold on damnit! HEEEEELLLLP!!! SOMEBODY HEEEELP ME!!!!" She yelled. "Kaytee." She cried, her hot tears pouring on my face.

"Ava.... I'm cold." I whimped.

"Oh God. Kaytee....." She cried over and over again. "My cell phone! My cell phone she sang. I'll get you help okay? Kaytee!" She shook me. "Stay awake damnit!"

"Ava it's it's too too too late. It's not your fault." I said and then... I passed out.
-------------------------

DAY 1 DEAD GIRL

I awoke in cold sweat, it all seemed so real. A little too real. I woke up in my Paramore band rock t-shirt, and my pinki plaid pajama pants. My brown straight fuffy hair was in my face, the way my mom hated it. I walked downstairs and saw everyone in black, all my aunts and uncles my cousins and my little brother, Jason. I saw my mom's pale sick face the one she got when she thought I had disapeared when I just got home.

"What happened? Somebody die?" I joked. My mom walked right passed me. "Mom I was kidding. But seriously who died?" I asked. She walked into our kitchen with has one door of privacy. My mom scraped everyones left overs from her peach cobbler into the sink. My dad came up behind her and hugged her, his face pale too.

"It's just so... different with her gone. She was our little girl." My mom sobbed.

"Clara, it's time." my father said.

"Time for what? what's going on here?" I said.

"I'm not ready to say goodbye. Not to our Kaytee." She said shaking her head.

"Goodbye to me? I'm right here!" I yelled.

"We never are honey, but it's what Kaytee would have wanted." They both walked back into the living room where all of the 70 people were at, then I saw her... I saw Ava, standing by herself infront of a picture... my picture.

"We have to make an announcement everyone!" My mother's voice broke and my father took over, "I think it's time we go and say goodbye to our friend, daugher, niece, and cousin our lovely Kaytee Jane Hofling." My father said. "It's what she would have wanted." He added.

I stood there in shock... it was a joke... it had to be one hell of a joke.

"Oh what you think this is funny? A little game you play with me before me and Ava go to collage? Well it's not funny your bull crap ends right here!" I threw a huge silver tray across the room, hitting my mother's china cabnet-thus making the glass shatter and rain over everyone. I looked at my mothers face, her expression hadn't changed. I looked back at the china cabet.... and the china and the glass was untouched... I was truely.... dead.

I ran outside as the rain began to pour I ran outside and within five minutes I saw dripping wet. I stood out in the rain and screamed as loud as I could. That's when I saw him... the angel of death.

"Stay away from me. I know who you are and what your here for and guess what? you're not getting it!"I yelled.

He had a british accent. "Well it's too late for that Kaytee."

I stood in the rain giving him that look, the look when your in so much pain and yet you feel nothing.

"You have 30 days understand? Only 30 then you will go whereever the hell I saw you will go." He said.

"Wait... what does that mean?" I said, rain soaking me.

"I dunno you're the expert." He snapped and then he faded to gray.

I walked into the rain as far as I could get. hoping and praying for a miricle.
