For most of us (unless you're in the Southern Hemisphere) the school year is winding down (but not the wrokload), or maybe it's already ended. So let's talk about one of my fave pastimes: Yearbooks!

I go to a three high school campus of over 5,000 students, making it the biggest in the country. Therefore, we have the biggest yearbook in the country, at around 550 pgs. And we don't even have seniors in one school yet!

If you want to see some funny stuff people have written, read my blog.

So...have at it! Talk about anything you want related to yearbooks. If you haven't gotten yours yet, check out the Ghosts of Yearbooks Past!

Wow, that's a big yearbook! My school just got out, and they barely gave us any time to get signatures, since we got it on Tuesday (early pickup was Monday afternoon), and graduation was Thursday. No one came Friday, and Wednesday was Senior Sluff day. So I basically had only one day to get signatures. Oh well.

the first day we could get ours was wednesday, so I got mine thursday.. and we have until the 9th, which is the last day of school. lol, kinda funny, really. they give them to us really early, and the teachers get mad when we have them out in class

Wow...well we had an award cerimony at my school and after that we got our yearbooks. We only had about ten minutes left in school so I got as many people as i could. BUT...this part pisses me off...the next day we weren't allowed to bring our yearbooks to school to get them signed...argh...

One thing about my school that's kind of funny and sad at the same time is each year the yearbook has someone in there twice or some random error. The sad part is that when the 8th graders leave the school the only thing to remember that school and year is the yearbook with the messed up printing...great huh?

I hate our principal he ugh makes me soooo angry....I mean the least he could do is make sure the commity double looks at the layouts before they print.
For now I will let the blood drip from my fingers...

Oh there are a bunch of errors in my yearbook. It says my science teacher teaches English. And in one team picture, it says First Row, Second Row, Third Row, and then Bottom Row when it should say Top Row. And there are quite a few mis-named students in group pictures. And in last years, it called a male friend a her. And he was ON the yearbook staff! And I was just looking through the staff photos, and they were missing many teachers.

Do you pay or get yearsbooks free?

I got some get-away-gradution yearbook and it stinks... most ppl didn't even know what to write and all teachers had wrote something. Mine came out in color but too bad for my sisters came 97procent out in black and white (grey). And forget the paper quality!

I wrote a whole story... They'll never have to look on my page though.. they won't remember me...:P

I had to pay like 80 bucks for mine. Or something like that. I don't remember; I bought it at registration. Or something.

Yeah, it's pretty heavy. But I'm gonna miss my friends, and my Seniors are leaving, so I gotta bring it.

Bobo, we got given the yearbook twenty minutes before we broke up! twenty minutes to get sigs.

We dont get yearbooks the way you seem to talk about them, as book given to you by the school to get signed, we had to bring in our own and get people to sign them, it was really good, because then you only got people you wanted too to write in them, and you can put your own photos in, like, ones to took yourself, i really love my yearbook, even though im fairly sad at leaving my school, but hey, im going to college now!!

We don't have yearbooks...we bring in our own for people to sign though, like Fool said, and stick photos in we took ourselves. It's fun to look back at stuff people wrote.
