Heya!

My name's Maya, I'm 16, I love writing, so I decided to join :) You see, writing, and recently, being part of a writing community, have become my favourite methods of procrastiantion. Which may not be the best thing for me right now, considering my looming IGCSEs... Yeah, my constant babbling about exams should show you how much I'm freaking out. Ignore that bit up there. Anyway, I write poetry and short stories mostly. I AM working on something longer, but, uh, it's not something I'm exaclty prepared to share. Not yet, anyway. I stick to general fiction, though i sometimes swerve into the realm of fantasy when the mood strikes. I also love painting/drawing - art, really. Oh, and horses - they're my favourite topic to write about, to paint etc. Though I have been trying to control that recently, on the writing side anyway, and focus on writing about other things once in a while. That would probably be it for now... *awkward silence as I can't think of anything else to say* See you around, I guess! ;)

Thanks, Via. Hmm, I'll go check out that Storybook section soon then, sounds interesting. And as for including horses in my stories - well, I tend to focus my stories on them, on their realtions with humans. Or I go fantasy and write about unicorns an pegasi, once in a while, too
