The Island

Splash! I looked over to see a boy about a foot away. He looked terrified. Actually I was too, I had no Idea how I got here. One minute I was eating a weird candy bar called 'the wave', next I'm here.
"Are you okay?" I asked him. He whipped his head towards me and let out a little shriek but then seemed to calm down.
"Finally, someone who looks normal." he murmered, thinking I couldn't hear. "Yeah, I'm fine." he said.
"Okay, are you from here? I'm completely lost. Oh, by the way I'm Naomi."
"No, I'm not," he replied looking uneasy. "I have no idea where we're at. I'm Tex." he held out his hand and I shook it.

Tex looked at the girls hand and noticed they were pretty roughed up for a girl as cute as her. In fact, they were so rough that it was like putting your hand to the ground.

Tex heard the other girls voice and quickly grabbed Naomi.
" Stay down!"

Sam~

Sam walked after the boy, seeing movement close by. "Oh Texy!" She laughed, peeking over a huge leaf. "Gotcha! Oh! You have a new friend! A girl at that! Lucky bastard!" She teased, grabbing both Tex and the girl and sligging them over her shoulder. "We're gonna have so much fun!" She laughed and came back into the clearing.

When Tex grabbed my hand he looked surprised. I knew he would, all humans do. I heard a girl's voice calling him. Suddenly he pulled me closer and whispered 'stay down'.
"Why?" I mouthed. He put his finger to his mouth, telling me to be quiet. Suddenly I saw why he was freaking out. A girl came into view. She was a tabby demon, I almost giggled. Werewolves and tabby demons were rivals. It was terrible what they did to human men.
Suddenly she pulled back the huge leaf we were hiding behind and grabbed us both.
"Let me go, cat." I yelled. She just kept on walking. I wondered if she hadn't recognized what I was yet.

Sam~

Sam tossed the ~were-wolf on the ground, pressing her shoe to her throat. "There dog. You're down. Stay." She snickered, moving her foot and leaving the dog on the ground, coughing.

"You bitch!" I yelled, "Let him got. He's not your next snack!" I ran after her, my throat hurt like hell. She was familiar, but I didn't know why...
I was in front of her now, blocking her path. "Set him down."

Tex felt like he was in one of those culutural videos his teacher makes him watch. About how neiboring country's fight over one river.
He finally feel's smypathy for that river.

Sam~

Sam snickered and tightened his grip on the kid. "Don't worry doggy. I won't kill him...as of now that is." She smiled wickedly and quickly stepped around the were-wolf, knocking her legs out from under her and pushing her face into the sand with one foot. "Bad dog." She laughed, turning and beginning to run.

Curtis---

Curtis stood there confussed. He didn't know if he needed to let his wings out and get the heck out of there or what. He just stood there.

*sorry*

Ugh! that stupid cat! I thought. He's probably scared out of his wits and now I'm just about to make it wrose. I started to run after her and turned myself. Running on all fours i soon came to the beach. I saw Tex bobbing up and down as the tabby ran with him. I kicked up my speed. I couldn't let them hurt another one. I knew I couldn't save them all but I could help Tex.

Sam~

Sam tossed the boy to the other tabbies, all of them laughing like crazy. She turned and transformed, facing the dog. "To late dog. Looks like he'll be here for a while." She snickered. "Now if you don't mind I've gotta catch myself something." She twisted her tail in the air and stalked back towards the other boy, transforming back into a human with cat ears and a cat tail as she got closer.

Ah come on! This was so not happening. I took a deep breath and ran into the pack of tabbies. I felt claws scratch at my back. I growled each time. Fianlly I saw him. He was in between two tabbies circling him I dashed towards him. I held my back out for him to get on. The tabbies hissed and pawed at me. I snarled and snapped my jaw, I was lucky they were fairly young and ran off. Tex hesitated before getting on but finally did when he heard other tabbies coming. I took off at full speed. He held on to my fur tightly.

Curtis---

Cutis crossed his arms watching the girl walk towards him. "That is a nifty trick." He said smiling slightly. "Care to tell me what you are?"

Sam~

"Leader of the Tabby Demons. What does it matter?" Sam smiled, flicking her tail across his collar bone. She smiled and shot a glance at the young tabbies that were nearing her. She laid her ears flat and they hissed, soon running off. "What are you?"

Curtias---

"WEll, A lil demon, a lil angel." He smiled, "I'm an breed." He laughed.
