Well, I joined a day or two ago, and kind of missed this forum. Anyway, I'd like to officially introduce myself. I'm Idle Muse (points to title) or James, I don't really mind which. I'm 15, live in England, and have been writing for as long as I can remember. Anyways, hi.

Hello James! Nice to have you here at YWS, let us know if you need any helping figuring things out on the site (I think there's a question thread now, you'd probably get a quick answer posting there if you find any of the features particularly puzzling).

Hey James! Welcome welcome welcome...

I think it has all been said, but I will be the miserable one and say remember to check out the rules before posting, but since you have already been on for a few days, I bet your familar with them already.

Anyhow, we have something in common (excluding the writing); rainy England! I'm Mark, or Aedomir, which ever you prefer.

What genres do you like to write? Are you writing anything as of late?

See you about! Let me know if you have any questions

Howdy!!! Welcome to YWS, your probably know your way around already :D, If you have any questions feel free to ask.

What is england like. I don't ever plan on flying anywhere or leaving the USA, but it is cool to hear about other places. I know a few people that live over there that worked for my dad and it sounds really cool.

I play the drums, think Philip Pullman and his Dark Materials series are the best trhings ever, love fantasy/sci-fi, play rugby and do sailing. There. My life in one sentence :D

It's a great country. I'm lucky too, as I live in an area that could be perfectly described by: 'green and rolling fields.' And yes, I do drink tea and eat crumpets :)

They're the stuff that goes with tea, silly. JK, I don't know either...Us stupid Americans. I think it's some kind of biscuit/cookie thing...

Anyway, I'd better get you your gift...Oh, what's this? Charlie's awake, roused by the mention of tea and crumpets! Okay, I'll let him do the gift-giving.

WHY 'ELLO THERE, OLD BLOKE! WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAVE MONEY ON YOUR CAR INSURANCE? THIS GIFT CAN DO THAT AND MORE*! RIGHTY-O THEN. Jolly nice of you to offer, old chap, but I'm gonna nip down the pub for a pint and a packet of crisps, (shifts to cockney) 'cos I'm a bit peckish an' all mate, innit. Tell you what, wait on the village green for 'alf a tick, they're playing Corrie on one of 'em giant TVs an' all. I'm off in the Escalade with me bird. Cheerio!

Top o the morning to ye...oh wait...that's Ireland...*looks around sheepishly to make sure no one heard*

That is so cool that you eat tea and crumpets!! Can I virtually shake your hand? *gives virtual handshake*

Anyhoo...welcome to the site. I'm not even gonna bother trying to do my British accent because I have had fruit thrown at me one too many times. I do do a fabulous German accent, though...ah, well, I'll just have to wait for someone German to join so I can offend them horribly...*sighs bitterly*

So PM me if you need anything, a crit or a friend or whatever.

Well, cheerio, old chap!
