The Curse

ok this is my what? 3rd or 4th storybook.....

the storybook is basically about love and pain. that should explain it. its set back in the old times like when there where counts and dukes and stuff like that.

well the story goes there is this duke(who i was recently widowed) who falls in love with a girl, but he doesnt knwo her. he tries to get her to fall in love with him but to no avail. but she secretly is fallin in love with him. there are other parts as well....

Dispite the fact that tonight was a ball and she was supposed to stay as prim and neat as she could, Maria wanted to go hiking. So, slipping outside she hurried into the woods.

"Maria!" her mother called. She ignored her.

Lady Michelle-

The ball, it was today. Lady Michelle sat thier alone in a chair. Usually her brother or sister would keep her company, but now she was all alone. She gazed into the crowd. Insantly thier eyes met. Lady Michelle's and Count Adam.



But little do they know that this moment would lead to thier mostly likely early deaths.

Amelia:

Amelia smiled as she finished her portrait of her baby brother. She was the oldest in her family, and there was only two. It was a miracle her mom had reproduced yet again after the doctor had warned hr not to try and get pregnant. The price her mom paid? Her life.


"Amelia!" Her father bellowed. "Amelia, Where are you?"

"I'm here father." She called out.

"Where? Where is your brother? What are you doing?" He asked, as he walked into the garden where she was painting.

"First, I'm in the garden in which you have just walked into. Second, my brother is lying in his cradle napping, and I would appreciate it if you would not wake him up. Third, I'm painting a portrait of Brandon to hang in thte halls. Any more questions?" She replied sarcasticaly.

He smiled. "You love trying to make your ole' man mad, don't you?" He asked, his smile broadining.

"Nonsense, I was merling answering your question." She replied, then burst out in a spout of giggles.

"Father, you knwo I love teasing you. But What I don't love is you forcing me to go to this ball. I really don't want to marry this early." She said not meeting her fathers eyes.

Immediatly, his smile turned into a frown.
"Amelia" he graoned, his hand coming up to his brow. "We've already discussed this. I will say no more." He replied then stomped out of the garden, leaving Amelia with her mouth hanging slightly open. Silently she cried to herself, a tear running down her cheek, and picked hr baby borther up from his cradle as he awoke.

Well Brandon, I guess I'll never amount to what father expects, will I? she silently pleaded to her brother. Oh who am I kidding? Your still a baby. You have everything you want. she whispered in her mind, as he smiled that baby smile, big and toothless.
