Sounds like the time is right to me, Jack! Don't make a move too quickly or anything, but as long as you just be your sweet self I'm sure everything will turn out fine. And it can't ever hurt to ask her out. If she goes from boyfriend to boyfriend fairly quickly (I don't mean that in a bad way, but I'm not sure how else to say it... LOL...) then she probably is used to getting back into dating quickly after breaking up. I know you'll treat her right.

I disagree--as a guy being on the RECIEVING end of this--(my ex just broke up with me and started going out with this guy soon after) I can tell you, it's no fun at all. I'm crushed--but thats for another day--if you care at all how trhis guy feels, know he'll be mad. If he deserves it, then go ahead and go for her.

*nods* Just be careful that you don't get into a rebound relationship (I know you already addressed that). It hurts like hell to find out that you were just the "replacement" so they could get over their ex. Trust me. *grimaces*
