it's great i read that and the second addition, all america girl ready or not.
all of meg cabot's book are awesome, be sure you read them too. especially princess diaries.
and there are some for adults, but it's equally as nice.
i read every boy's got one, and it was seriously funny and interesting.

I loved the first book, because it's great for lifting spirits on a rainy afternoon. But the sequel just totally killed me. Not that it was a bad book or anything. but Meg Cabot was supposed to be giving girls an example, seeing as how she's so popular. And then she went and let her 16 year old MC have sex. Yeah, right. I just felt like "Whoa, wait a sec, Sam's supposed to be awesome role model, so you want girls going and having premarital teen sex??" Yeah. Not that I'm like "kill all girls who have sex before marriage", but I've known a lot of people who just regret it so much. If you're not careful, it can ruin your life.
So, first book :great. Sequel: not so much. Great ideas, bad examples

I read Ready Or Not: All American Girl, with no background knowledge of Meg Cabot or her series (so I hadn't read the first one). I read it in about three hours and found it.....a bit blah. I know that sounds stupid coming from a girl that writes YA herself, but I found the book a bit pointless.
The writing itself was good, so I would consider reading a different book of hers, but I wouldn't recommend the one I read.
