[pre]The sky is grey. Few white birds fly above their heads. Seagulls to be exact. And she wonders why aren't they cold, don't they fly south? (Trembles and creates visible breath, the sight of it sends a chill down her spine). You know they say temperature is psychological indeed. Pretend your in a warm tropical environment, and that breath shall no longer chill you.
She walks across the street and notices a car is coming. Its a parking lot, and she enjoys walking in front of the car in just enough time not to be careless yet the same amount of timing that makes the driver angry. She loves doing this, it makes her chuckle. At school its especially fun, the cool kids trying to race about the parking lot, and having to wait for her slow self to walk across....For a moment she has control, she ends their enjoyment... Sometimes she even walks slower, to annoy them that much more.
"Pedestrians have the right of way," she laughs[/pre].
