So, my username is Lexicalized, but my real name is Alexis. Feel free to call me Lex or Lexie or...heck, whatever you feel like calling me.
I'm an eighteen year old Freshman in college, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in English/Writing. I was homeschooled about 99% of my life, which was actually a lot of fun and I learned a lot.
Ever since I was a little kid, I have absolutely loved reading and writing. I wrote so many stories when I was little. Yeah...back then I could actually finish 200 Hand-written-page stories. *laughs* Now, I can't finish stories.
I have, however, developed an obsession with writing song lyrics and poetry. I think I've pretty much given up on writing fiction or novels in general. Oh well, I guess that's just not what I was born to do. I really do love lyrics and poetry though. I'm not sure how good I am at it...but I've been working at it for awhile. I'd definately love some good honest opinions on my work, and maybe that's why I'm here...I'd also like to meet lots of other writers and just learn more in general.
So, as if I hadn't written enough already, I just thought I'd add that I'm a born again Christian. If you don't know what that is, ask, I'd be more than happy to explain. God is a MAJOR part of my life...although I'm far from who I should be. He still forgives me and never gives up on me.
Oh, and I love photography as well. I think I'm going to end up minoring in it.
