She saw reese just walking around and looking around. She walked up to reese.
"What are you looking for? Why aren't you in bed?" Mich asked her. When she looked into Reese's eyes, she could tell that she was tired and needed rest.

Reese-

Why would i be in bed? I am fine! I felt better after finding Mich. Harvard was a big boy, I guessed he would be fine. I just pussed past a slightly alarmed looking Mich and walked over to a window. I saw the rex momentarily then it was out of sight again. (I am assuming there are windows?? You never know though.) When I passed out earlier I had seen my dad, just the way I remembered him. We were sitting in his squad car on a Sunday afternoon.
"Look at my beautiful daughter." He had said, "Why is she so afraid of everything now."
"I don't know." I had replied, avoiding his eyes.
"Reese, you can't be so afraid of everything! This is the world now, you have to live your life. You can help, you are smart and strong."
"You really think so?"
"I know so." Then i was awake again, listening to the sirens.
"Reese, wait up!" Mich had called after me.
"Mich were safe in here, right?" It was almost a rhetorical question.
She gave me a confused look then nodded her head.
"Then why am i so freaking afraid all the time?" I said exhasperated.
"You should lie down, Reese, you look tired."
I brushed off Mich's comment. "Everyone is so used to me being the scared one, the person no one can count on for safety. Well why? I used to be the one people would come to when they were scared." It was like i was having some sort of epiphany, "I'm tired of being this way! My dad is right."
"Reese your dad is dead."
"I talked to him, Mich, I really talked to him."
"Alright that's it!" She said, "You need to go back to sleep."
"Naw, I'm fine I promise. I know I sound crazy, but I think I should be helping fight this rex and these dino-people, instead of sleeping."

Mich


"Listen Reese. It's okay to be afraid. I mean, what else would someone expect of a nineteen year-old? Also, your not alone, everybody is scared, even me and Harvard. Nobody expects you to go fight a Rex or a Raptor, you're just a teenager. And I know what it is like to lose parents, you want them back and you think about them all the time, and dream about them. When I was finally adopted, I ended up bonding with my father, but then he died. If you're afraid, then don't fight." She said, looking Reese in the eyes. Mich had never told anybody about her past, of being adopted, abused, or any of that.

Reese-

Adopted? I never knew that. But I couldn't let my dad down, because if I just sat around and did nothing, it would have been like him dying to save me was all for nothing. I wanted to be Harvard and Mich's kind of afraid. I didn't want to be the kind of afraid that was just useless, I wanted to help, I wanted to make my dad proud.
"Mich, I know you're trying to help, but I can't just sit back anymore. Not after that, I have to do something." I glanced back out of the window, it was almost like there was adreniline rushing through me and I was afraid it was going to stop and I would go back in to zombie mode and just sit around and do nothing.

"Alright that's it!" She said, "You need to go back to sleep."

Mich ~

Michelle rubbed her shoulder, sometimes the scar there hurt. She pushed her sleeve off of her shoulder just a little bit so she could look at it.
"Okay Reese, but whatever you do, I want you to be careful. You’ve never killed a dinosaur, have you?” She asked, still looking at her shoulder, and then Reese turned away from the window and looked at Mich.

Here is my second character:

Name: Clinton

Age: 19 ½

Gender: Male

Personality: Kind, sometimes quiet, and can sometimes be very social. He enjoys people. He likes Reese and Mich.

Appearance: Hair is black and above his ear, it is ragged. His eyes are blue.


History: His whole family was killed by a rex, including his 5-month old baby sister.

Reese-

"No, but I can learn." I answered, staring her in the eye. I picked up a small gun laying on the floor. It was full with ammo. I stuck it in the waist of my jeans and felt like I really could do something.

"Then you better start with something easier and smaller than a Rex." Mich said and winked.
"I guess so." Reese said, trying to think of what type of dinosaur, then Clinton interrupted. "How about a herbivore? Or if you feel bad about killing one of them, try a target or a small carnivore." Clinton suggested. He laughed at the site of Reese with the gun in her jeans. He grabbed a holster and put it around her waist before putting the gun in it.
"Like that." He said.

Reese-

I looked up into Clinton's baby blue eyes as he strapped a holster around me. My cheecks flushed a deep shade of pink as I told him he smelled nice. Lame much?
"There you go, walk before you run Reese." he said ruffling my hair. He treated me like such a kid sometimes, I constantly has to remind him we were the same age.

Clinton


He smiled at Reese and sat down next to her.
"But if you go after a big dinosaur, or even a Raptor, you need a better gun than that, like this one." He said as he picked up a black gun.
"Also, before you go hunting, you need to practice aiming." He added, still smiling.

"No is going anywhere. The Fortress is currently on lockdown." The three people in the room froze, causing Harvard to smile (though the smile was barley noticeable.)

"Www-what? How long have you been there?" One of the men in the room asked.

"Long enough to here your talk of kill those dinosaurs. No one leaves. Final"

She went to her room, leaving Clinton and Reese behind. When she got to her room she sat on her bed, then she pulled something out from under it. A diary, one of the few things she managed to save. She opened it up and started writing, when she finished writing, she started reading it from the beginning.
