Fantasy storybook

Ok, this is a fantasy storybook. *smile* Anyway here are the rules or restrictions, whatever.

1. Your character can be an elf, fairy, human, or a witch. You can have 1/2 and 1/2 of one of your characters (not both). However, if you have someone who's part witch, they cannot control their element (not very well at least).

2. No characters that are part fairy, human, elf, or witch. You can only have your character be part of two races, (if it is a 1/2 and 1/2 character)

3. Witches can control either water, fire, shadows, or earth.

4. You can have as many characters as you can handle.

5. No god moding

6. No killing other characters other than your own, only kill someone else's character if it is in the plot and they come back to life, must ask permission.

Name: Jinx
race: witch, fairy
element: fire (can't control)
appearance:pixie cut (no pun intended),red hair, blue wings, hazel eyes, always wears a short black dress,five feet four inches, not extremely skinny, but skinnier than some people.
Personality: short tempered, (very, very, short tempered), always wants a friend, playful, spaces out (zones out)
Age: 15
Important extra: when she gets angry, she accidentally sets things on fire, can't fly for very long, knows Tristan, doesn't love Tristan though.

Character 2
Name: Tristan
Race: Human
appearance: blond hair, Five feet 3 inches, skinny, not muscular, blue eyes, wears glasses,
personality:funny, a bit pyro, madly in love with Jinx, despite her issues, clumsy, talkative
Age: 15
Extra: Knows Jinx (duh)

That's it! This is in a different world (of course) where there are more trees. (there are some giant forests)

Quick question: What time period is this based around? Medieval, or Modern?

Race: Wizard (Male version of a Witch)
Element: Shadows
Gender: Male
Appearance: Shaggy dark hair that reaches his chin, ice blue eyes, and pale skin. He stands about 6' 1" and has a slim and graceful build. He always wears a long black cloak with a hood. His facial features are sharp.
Personality: Sarcastic, bitter, witty, and intelligent. He has very little trust for strangers and can seem incredibly dark and bitter when you first meet him. But if he's around friends, he lightens up considerably. He has a temper but it takes a lot to bring it out. Usually, if he gets mad, he wont shout but resorts to one sentence rebukes.
History: He grew up as an orphan. Thats all anyone knows.

Name: Lyethanan (Lye for short)
Age: 213 (Looks 20)
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Appearance: Blond hair that reaches just past his shoulders, tired gray eyes, and lightly tanned skin. His build is willowy and graceful. He stands about 6' 3" and always wears a dark maroon cloak.
Personality: Charming and considerate, Lye is always ready to lend a hand. He is intelligent and wise and never jumps into action without thinking. He has a temper, but it very rarely shows. He takes pity of those less fortunate than him but is wary of strangers. Does not like to draw attention to himself, though.
History: He is a wanderer and grew up on his own after he left his mother when he was very young.

I really have no clue what time period is. Is there any preference?

Name- Jack Alson

Age- 24

Race- Human

Element- water

Gender- male

Personality- Quiet and stern. He prefers his own way of doing things and has a problem taking order. He's always to the point and hates those who beats around the bush. Compassion is not his strong point, but he has a kind heart. He is often unmotivated.

History- He was a knight to a local lord, but was banished for not following orders. He killed another knight because he took advantage of his younger sister Heather. She stayed with the lord and Jack is looking for a way to get her back.

Name: Aria (ar ee uh)

race: elf

appearance: not very tall on elf standards (only about 5'7"), but slender and curvy; has waist length reddish blonde hair, usually kept in a ponytail; blue-grey eyes

Personality: calm and patient, usually quiet; loves to sing, especially when she's alone, needs to think, or is upset; has a temper, and is dangerous when angry

Age: 18

Important extra: She is a true soprano, among the highest-pitched singers, and usually sings in Elvish or Dwarven. She is really aggressive if angered, and might lock you in a barrier with her; other than that, she will explode things with her magic.



*Note: whenever I do have Aria sing, I will put the translations in parentheses. Also, elvish, in my book, is Italian/Latin, and Dwarven is German/Gaelic. Cool?

Name: Hawk

Race: Bird-Man

Appearance: ilWings of a bird that form hands. Basically a bird that has arms with fingers and that walks upright. Black feathers and yellow eyes

Personality: Very cunning and warrior-like. Will fight to the death for his family and tribe.

Age: 190

Important extra: Hawk lives in the floating city of Nordoran, well used to. The city fell prey to sky-pirates who took most of his tribe into slavery. Hawk has sworn to save the rest of his city with the little army he has.

Name: Mara

Age: 15

Race: Witch

Element: Shadows

Gender: Female

Description:Blue eyes, Long, silky black hair that is in a unique style, slightly tall, pale skin, curvy body, slender, and kind of muscular. Elegant and graceful.

Personality: Dangerous when angered, sweet, gentle,she reads a lot, isn't really sporty or anything, and loves to sing in English.

History: grew up on her own and knows how to handle the wild

Extra**: she also does archery

Hawk

Hawk half flew, half ran across the ruins of the ancient city of Nordoran. Though he wished to stay here in this glorious city of the heavens he knew staying here would be pointless. The blasts from the space-pirates had weakened the great stone city so much it was unsafe to live in. And anyways, he had a civilization to rescue. He took one last look at the glorious city. it was a massive castle with large bird heads coming out of each corner. Red paint covered most of the city walls, except for a blue line on the wall wear the cannons came out of. What a wonderous city...

"Master Hawk." Hawk turned around to face Priest Gryfn. "We cannot leave...not all of us that is. If we are all gone we'll lose all of our magic and we'll become mortal."

"But if we don't leave then we'll die here, or at least captured and sold into slavery like the others. We have to get them back."

"I know your wife and son were taken but please get a hold of yourself." Hawk, infuriated at the priests disrespect to his family, grabbed the gray Harpie by the neck.

"I am the king of the Harpies and I will lead my people where ever I please." He through the priest to the ground. "If you wish to remain here, do so. Pray to the gods the sky-pirates don't come back. For the rest of you warriors." Hawks voice grew. "We will track down these sky-pirates to the ends of the Earth if we have to. We will free our people. For Nordoran! For our families! And For our god Yuporn!" He slipped his helmet on and grabbed his sword. "We fly!" He jumped off the side of the bridge flying off into the distance. The other harpies followed his lead, unsure of what fate awaited them.

Mara

Mara watched as the hawks flew over her, casting shadows on the ground. She grabbed her bow and quiver and took her lucky pendant that was carved by the wood elves of Kalebro. She headed towards the base of the mountain, using her shadows to hoist her up the steep hill and into the forest by a small clearing that she visits frequently. Mara sat there, engulfed in her own shadows, practicing spells. The loud cries of the hawks calmed her and made her listen to her surroundings. She sat, waiting for nothing in particular, just waiting. She drifted, slowly, into a calm, dreamless sleep.

Name: Bella
Age: 19
Species: Witch
Element: Shadows/Fire (something in her parents blood caused an odd twist of element)
Appearance: Long black hair, usually left down, but occasionally braided. Violet eyes. Average height and weight. Her skin is oddly pale. She normally wears a relatively short, purple skirt, with a purple matching blouse. Her cloak is black as night, but shimmers brilliantly. Her weapon of choice depends on her mood. At her hip is her father's sword, which was given to her at his passing. At each ankle is a dagger, her mother's prized posessions.
Personality: Very moody, but rarely mad. When she gets mad, you should be frightened, but until then, tis all good. She tends to be hyper and happy, and quite alluring. XD
Extra: Her parents are both dead, and she is a traveler.

Hawk

He had his men slowly flew across the open plain. The sky-pirates were not far ahead. They could already see the heat trail the engines left on the ground. "Sir." A large red Harpy flew up next to him.

"Don't be so formal Wark. We're brothers."

"I know, but I must show you respect."

"Whatever you want. What is it you need?"

"We've spotted the vessel up ahead. It seems that it's already deposited our brothers in feathers. But I think we can still take it. We might find some information of their whereabouts."

"Okay. To war we go." He motioned for the others to mass up behind him. The ship slowly came into sight. It was a large hulking metal craft made out of rusty metal. Two large thrusters came out of the side of the vessel.

"Attack!" He bellowed. All forty of the three foot tall harpies rushed the side of the ship. This would be a battle to remember.

Race: Witch

Element: Fire

Appearance: (My avatar) 5' 5", skinny, in shape.

Personality: Easily angered. She's a fighter and enjoys flirting. She laughs a lot, but is reserved and cautious of strangers. She's trustworthy, but doesn't trust others until they know her. Knows Amira.

Age: 20


Name: Amira (female)

Race: Elf

Appearance: Tall, slim, agile. She blends in with her elements and becomes invisible.

Personality: Reserved and hardly shows emotion. Fighting has hardened her, and even though she is best friends with her, sometimes she can't stand to be around Alexus, especially if she's being flirtatious. A loner, she just tolerates others. Loves to hunt and normally goes off on her own just with a bow and arrows. She comes from a long line of elite Elves and knows all the history.
