Well, I wrote this for an assignment in my Creative Writing class I took in high school. I'm not really a poet, but I thought that this came out a lot better than I thought it would. Please let me know what you think!
______________________________________

You said things to me as if you knew me

As if, you were better than me

Well, you were wrong

Who were you to judge me?

By appearance alone

There is so much more to me than that

“You’re fat and ugly”

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I’m sorry, you were too blind to see that

“You have buck teeth”

Your teeth weren’t that much nicer

Than mine

I’m sorry that you judge me based

On something trivial like that

“Four eyes.”

All I got to say is:

I can see a whole lot better than you can

I’m sorry that you didn’t understand

My phobia of contact lenses

“You’re stupid.”

How can that be?

When I have better grades than you?

“Teacher’s Pet”

It’s always good to be

On the teachers side.

I’m sorry you wanted to alienate yourself like that

“You dress funny.”

I’m sorry I didn’t like to dress like a Barbie doll

And for having my own style

“You’re just plain weird”

I like to be different

I’m sorry that you were too jealous

Or self conscious

Or whatever you were

To see what was right in front of you

I’m sorry you couldn’t accept me for me

I’m sorry if you couldn’t see the me inside

I’m sorry you were too busy being superficial

And judgmental

To notice

The true me.

That's really good. The scary thing is, I would really have needed that last year, but now...*sighs* anyway.
That has a great rythm to it and has a lot of fun to it, while still staying on the slightly serious side.

Who were you to judge me?

By appearance alone

The question mark looks like it's in the wrong place here:

Who were you to judge me

By appearance alone?

Other than that, well done, that would be a really good boost for anyone that's getting teased at all. :smt023

this was good! So true. But anyways, a little of it sounded a bit choppy, but other than that...good job!

wow. whoever said this if it is true was being very stereotypical (if thats a word) and judgmental. i have this thing where i dont like people like that. they tend to think that they are perfect and dont have time for any new people so they judge you and give you this label that simply says "i'm not your type" or "dont get to know me." the day everyone stops judging people is the day world hunger ends.
now i dont know if this relate to your poem or not and if it doesnt then i am sorry that i watsed your time but i just wanted to comment and say that it isnt just you that feels this way. i do it to. but maybe thats just high school. i mean im a junior in high school and am practically counting down the days till i get out. that sounds negative but its practically true.
so, good job with this and i have been wanting to write someting like this for quite sometime now.
keep writing. even if you're not a poet.
