Whose games were empires
And whose stakes were thrones,
Whose table earth-
Whose dice were human bones.
What is there to do when all else fails?

I always love four-line poetry... but the only reason I knew what it was about was because of the title... not sure if you wanted it that way, if so; good job!!!

Ok the line "whose table earth-", that line was a bit aukward, try rephasing it or something.

Overall, great job!!
What then? Shall we sit idly and say
the night has come; it is no longer day.
Yet as the evening twilight fades away,
the sky is filled with stars, invisible to day.

Nice work.
It has allot of meaning stuffed into those four lines.
Very nice work!
