Okay, I have finished the whole series of Maximum Ride and I just absolutely loved it! I mean, how could you not? I just love how Max is so clever and funny, but my all time favorite charactor would have to be Fang. I like him because he is quiet, but yet powerful. I really liked the romantic affair that he and Max had.

Well, if you feel up to it, please, let's discuss the things about this book! It was great and I can't believe that it is over!

the 3rd book made me want to hit James Patterson over the head with a dull ax. Yes, it was hilarious, but NOTHING MADE ANY SENSE!!!! and the things that did make sense were completely cliche!! GRRRR!!!

I LOVED the first two though. :D and even though the 3rd one depressed me i'm still anxiously awaiting number 4.

I don't think there is going to be a fourth one. It said on the cover that it was the end. What was so depressing about the 3rd one?

I just about threw the book across the room when Angel betrayed them. It scared me so freaking much! I didn't know what was happening!! Boy that made me angery! But, she was on their side the entire time, so it was ok.

I really didn't like how it kept switching around, saying that the director was Max's mom, and then she's not...that was confusing.

anyway, SSassy lady, I can't spoil it for you! Sorry!

How can there be a fourth one, if Max has already saved the world? Isn't that what Jeb said she was designed for?

Hm..I don't like the idea of a fourth book. I think that it is already all summed up.. unless like Ari (grrrr... I hate Ari) comes back to life somehow and rebuilds Itex. But that would be dumb, because he is only six years old!

Well, how you do guys think book four will be?

True love! A family! School! More opportunities for Max to be her obnoxious, sarcastic self!

THAT is what awaits us in book 4. lol. at least that's my opinion. or maybe more erasers. or something. i don't know.

i've read all three of these books as well and found them to be pretty funny and entertaining. Not a hard read at all. The action is great but the best part of the books are the descriptions of flying. My favorite scene from the books is when they kids go and fly with the hawks. Absolutely incredible.

Right before my family went to D.C. my mom bought the book for my brother- I ended up staying up till four with a flashlight reading it! Of course, then I made Mom buy me the second one and read it all night at the hotel. And bought the third at the airport on the way back. It's a good thing I've read them each like 20 times, because Mom was not happy at spending that money on a series I'd only started two days before!

I'd recommend this book to basically anyone except people who wanna borrow it from me. MINE!! MINE I TELL YOU, MINE!!!!!!

Maximum Ride is one of the best books ever. How can you hate Ari? I love him. And he's six/twenty something. shrug.

I stay up all night reading any books, not just Maximum Ride. I just can't put a book down until I've finished it or else I think I'm going to miss out on something.
SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read the 4th Maximum Ride book, its called The Final Warning, if I recall correctly. It is horrible. Absolutely wretched. It starts too fast, slows down and is tolerable in the middle, then shoots off in a totally random direction for no appearant reason in the end. The last half of the book is this crusade against global warming. It's like Patterson attended a confrence on it, and suddenly was inspired to redo his story to aid that cause, which he did, and suddenly changed his entire direction, then sort of attempted to patch things up. Only he didn't do so very well at all. Horribly. I support the anti-global warming thing, but this is too in-you-face, and pathetic. Early in the book, Max and the flock snub an offer of government for protection, then speak about global warming before Congress in the last chapter. What the heck?
