Hello! I'm new at YWS but you'll be seeing a lot more of me. I wanted to write a short story, but I have no ideas, so I decided to do an experiment. Anyone who has a story they want to see, or ideas they'll never use, or even a spin-off for one of their stories written, tell me your ideas! My story will be the creation of everyone here! I'll take any ideas, and post my story as soon as I finish it!
What do you want written?
"Son, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
"A felon!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yah! This kid at school says they get all the girls!"

This would make a very good sticky; we could all post unwanted or unused ideas, and uninspired writers could look here for something. Sort-of like the dares thread on NaNoWriMo, but without the (intentional) craziness (for the sake of craziness).
Echoing kitty15, though, what genre are you looking for? (Have you tried the contests forum? That can be a good place to look for ideas.)
any genre is fine, except for romance. I'm horrible at romance. I'd perfer fantasy, but anything is fine.
Oh yeah, and if you don't have any story ideas, you can always post a setting or character you want in the story as well
