I've really not read anything besides Eragon that was so painfully cliche.
CLICHES MAKE ALL THE STORIES WE READ. EVEN LOTR IS CLICHE. Hey where do you think Tolkien got the idea of the dragon and all those hobbits and so on and so on. some people might get angry about this but Lotr is as Cliche as Eragon. PERIOD!.
