hello

just a quick note to introduce myself I just joined today. other than briefly being a member of faerie-circle a good few years ago I have never joined in on forums before so apologise now for anything i may do wrong.

Im a bit worried im too old for this site being 28 but i still feel young is that ok.... if not tell me off and i will find another site..

I write mainly poetry well free verse anyway a lot of it dark a lot of it light some mystical and some just plain weird I havent written much for a while but want to get back into it.

Ill get some stuff up shortly please comment honestly i don't mind constructive critism but am sesitive to out right assasination so be gentle please however honesty is more important than my sensitivities so if its crap say so

anyway don't really know what else to say except that i hope to find some friends and look forward to reading other people stuff and finding out what people think of mine

Thankyou fo such a kind offer, however after browsing through the poetry sections of the site a little i think maybe I should find somewhere else to put my stuff as maybe it not really poetry at all possibly song lyrics I don't know but none of my stuff seems to have the ryhme rythem meter etc that every one goes on about so much in the reviews

my stuff is more like unpolished emotions barely altered written in one or two sittings at most but if i try to polish them they lose something for me.
i dunno whether to put stuff up or not to be honest i don't even know what half the words people use in thier reviews mean.

on a more positive note i really liked your love is a lie poem and your other stuff i saw was good too

BTW, if you see anyone with multi-colored names be nice to them. They have ultimate cosmic powers. Not really but the red ones are administrators so... You'll mostly find me in fantisy fiction, hope to see you around!

Let me tell you this: this site is designed to help those who struggle with writing to become better. I know there's an initial sense of "I'm not good enough to match these guys," but you'll get over it. And who knows? You might even start a whole new type of poetry.

Of course, there's no requirement for posting your own work, some people just like to keep themselves to themselves.
