"Meanwhile everyone wants to breathe and nobody can; and many say, 'We will breathe later.' And most of them don’t die because they are already dead." -- Graffiti of the events of May, Paris '68
Society's too schizophrenic to have stereotypes, but assuming such a variegated culture could produce a singular vision, I'd have to say the "Nerd" stereotype, in part because I fit yet break it all at once. The other part is that Nerds will eventually end up ruling the world one day with their spiffy technology and get their flashy metal robots to tie us all up and hit us with battery acid.
"If I have not seen as far as others, it is because giants were standing on my shoulders." -Hal Abelson
Anyway, I like the Barbie wanna be ones, its stupid (sorry if you are like that I wont hate you ) It reminds me of pink clothes and blonde hair with a big smile on their lips... YUCK! (and again soz)
My favorite stereo-type? how can people like stereo-types at all? Stereo-Types are stupid, the give people more reasons to make fun of the innocent. Mabye i'm missunterstanding the point of this thread. But, if not, my ohpinion stands. Sorry if i'm making trouble.
Incan: Have you ever seen Revenge of the Nerds and its sequals?
My favorite stereotype would have to be The Token Black Guy.
I may sound racist, but they're always so damn funny!
Okay, nevermind...my favorite is The Chinese Mechanic! (Mad TV, anyone?)
Or...Southern White Trash?
I love them all!
"And I am a writer
writer of fiction
I am the heart that you call home
And I've written pages upon pages
Trying to rid you from my bones...
Let me go if you don't love me" ~The Decembrists "Engine Driver"
The persion tow truck man on the little thingy ... MAD TV!!!!.. like... it seems true when somebody comes here for a good life and riches they end up working at a fast food joint... it kinda.... and it's a funny stereotype... mean but true....

You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road, and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength. — Uncle Iroh
