The dog came towards her then stopped. She steadied her gun, the dog barked and growled while wagging its tail. She ran back to her black horse and rode off. She rode past trees and back to her cabin. She grabbed a small crystal container will an angel lid. She unscrewed the top and it was a bubble tube. She walked on to her deck and blew some bubbles. Inside the bubbles were angels.

“I need guidance. What do I do about the neighbor’s dogs? Should I shoot them or get a cop?” The bubble angels started singing softly and quietly.

“You need to contact Ilia-”

“I asked you for advice! Not your music!” She swatted at the bubbles and popped them. She blew a few more bubbles.

“Where can I find the Ilia bubble?” The bubbles stayed silent and popped. She blew a few more.

“Where can I find the Ilia bubble?!” These bubbles did the same as the others.

“I need to find the Ilia bubble!” Right after she said that she blew a bubble.

“I am the Ilia bubble, you asked for me right before you blew me.”

“What should I do about the dogs?”

“Shoot them!” Another bubble appeared.

“Tyla!”

“Who are you? I only blew one bubble!”

“I am the real Ilia, the other bubble is my twin sister Tyla, I act like an angel and she acts like a devil.” Ilia said. Ilia floated over to her twin and popped her twin.

“How can I tell you and your twin apart?”

“I am a bigger bubble then her.”

“What should I do about the dogs? I can’t just leave them, their owner is in jail and won’t come back for more than six months!”

“Do what you believe in, but I suggest you get someone who can take these dogs to a shelter.”

“Who?”

“Get help from a cop.”

“Thanks Ilia. Why are you bigger than your sister? It is not like she is younger than you.”

“She was born first though, I was born moments after, but that has nothing to do with our sizes. I am bigger because I have helped more people then her, The more people I help the bigger I get.”

“She helps people too doesn’t she?”

“Yes, but not as well. She gives them bad advice. Most of her past clients are either dead or in jail. Now when she talks to a client, there are hidden bubbles watching her, which is why I showed up all the sudden!”

“Wow.”

“I got to go! There is another client needing help! I better get to him before Tyla! Bye!”

“Bye Ilia.”

It was sweet, is there anymore of this? I'm not realllly sure what it's about in all honesty. I think you could describe why she has these bubbles, why are they angels? Give us more information and make it much more descriptive. But yeah, it was cute ^_^

All the best,

I'm confused. It's just a conversation between a girl and some bubble fairies, which isn't bad, but it neds some description. Also, I don't have a name for the main character. Can I ask what TBOTB stands for? You have a good idea here, but you need to work on it. Good luck. =]

I loved it! You're a great writer by nine year old standards. Explaining the bubble people a bit more would be good. They were really cute (I hate the word cute) and interesting. Kepp going! Don't turn into me, get a really good idea and then drops it because she too lazy to keep writing.

Hi there, FireArris!

This was cute; I'm not sure if there's any more to it, but it was short and cute, a good stand alone dialogue. So, here's what I'm going to do. I'm just going to address 2 issues in this that I think you can work on, okay?

Uniform Sentence Structure

FireArris wrote:The dog came towards her then stopped. She steadied her gun, the dog barked and growled while wagging its tail. She ran back to her black horse and rode off. I have an exercise for you. I want you to take a separate sheet of paper and write the three first words of each of your sentences in a column. Then, look at it. What do you see? A lot of the same, right? This is an example of uniform sentence structure, something that you want to avoid unless it is used intentionally for parallelism. This uniformity makes the paragraph less interesting, so you're going to want to vary your sentence structure by using phrases, clauses and such at the beginning of your sentences. You may not know what all those words mean, but if you read and notice that a sentence does not start with the subject and verb, you have probably found an example.

Description and Detail

Okay, look at the section with all the dialogue. Does it look a little... bare to you? Me too. The great thing about writing is that, as the narrator/writer, you can see and enjoy all the details of your world just like if your scene was in real life. Now, as a writer, you just need to pick and choose what details to include to make it realistic. So, detail. You need more of it. Think to yourself: how is my main character moving when she speaks? Does she saying something softly? What is the weather like? Does she wear any specific expression? These details are what make your story realistic.

Describing detail. So, you know what details to include. Now you just have to describe them. Let me tell you no big paragraphs of description and no sifting through your dictionary looking for the biggest words possible. You can describe detail in a few, simple sentences. "She smiled" = detail.
"The wind blew in her hair" = detail. These things paint pictures. Be creative in your description, but remember that less is more.

All in all, a fair piece of writing. Keep on writing; tis the only way to improve. PM me if you have any questionns. Toodles!

 Do you notice how you start every sentence with 'she'? This is a commen thing, something that a lot of writers don't notcie. Sentence structer is a big part in the difference between a good writer, and a person who enjoys writing. Being able to provide different types of sentences and words can make a big difference. If you need help on how to fix this particular paragraph, PM me, and I'll give you some suggestions or more advice.
 Here's another thought. I think you could do a lot for this story by stopping to describe the angels. What do they look like? Are they all female? Do some look evil? Take the time to put a picture in the readers mind.

“I am the real Ilia, the other bubble is my twin sister Tyla, I act like an angel and she acts like a devil.” Ilia said. Ilia floated over to her twin and popped her twin.

 This just doesn't seems right for some reason. I like the fact that she is the real Ilia, but the whole 'I act like an angel and she acts like a devil' thing is a tad overdone. Try mixing it up a bit and saying that she's just her sister. Maybe she's envious, or evil, or just likes not helping, but try to word it in a less chessy way. Also, I think her sister would have a little something to say about her sister popping her. You think she'd put up a bit more of a fight.

It is not like she is younger than you.”

 Make 'it is' into 'it's'. In this case, it flows better.

 This was a really good start. I love your idea's of angels inside the bubbles, there was definently something so...I don't want to use the word cute...but there was something so heartwarming about it. It reminded me of when I was younger, and the things I used to wish were true. Only you worded it in a much more eloquint way. I must say, your writing is very advanced for your age. Not to be steryotypical, but I would love to read your writing in a few years. You're going to go far with it, I'm sure.

:!: Now, onto the story... :!:

Something I noticed a lot was a lack of detail. This is a bigger thing than you give it credit for I'm sure. Just think, a story without detail is nothing more than you telling the reader something happened.

Basic examples of easy description:
Where are they?
Who are they?
What are the surroundings?

The idea of description is to paint a clear enough picture in the readers head, description is what makes writing seem so real. It's what sucks people into that world that the author created and makes them just love the story. Most writing would be awfully boring without description. Use it.

Other than that, this is a really good start. If you want or need me to expand on anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm always willing to help!

Keep up the good work! I hope to read some more of your work soon!

But that is not the question. Why we are here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come. -Beckett
