Cool, you have a lot of books. I think it's pretty cool.
You would think that with so many books it would lok to busy but i think the actual covers and then the areas where you see the pages put together makes it balance.

Yeah, good job on the editing. The original photo just looks like it really is: a pile of books. With upping the saturation and darkening it, it helps it look a bit mysterious, I dunno... You've made it more eye catching, more vibrant, I like it. The colors don't clash, they go rather well together, I'd say. And you made a good decision by cropping it. There's one thing missing though... You've got to give it a title. Oh wait, you did: Sea of Books. In my opinion, the title doesn't catch my eye and doesn't seem very fitting. Overall, a nice composiion.

I don't read John Grisham actually... I just have his book. Got it from my dad's friend. I don't know how much you can notice it but the book above the Grisham book, with the spine away from the camera is The Bell Jar. I think all my other classics are buried.

My bed looked like that last year when I was trying to decide what books to take with me when I left for school. It was horrible. I'm so indecisive, I slept on the sofa for days. Good pic!
I liked it a great deal--Fabien was right, you did a great job on the editing, definately gives the photo an atmosphere. How to describe that atmosphere I have no idea , but I really do like it!

I edited the contrast, and some other picture qualities to it. If you're considering buying an image editor, PSP is really good, I think, or adobe photo shop, though I've never used it, but I've seen some really good work with it.
