Something totally screwed up, without a title

All of the sudden a wolf came running up to the group.

Alles drew his sword, as did the other elf.

"Oi!" came a cheerful voice. "I think you forgot something!"

The wolf transformed into a young girl and stood in front of the group.

"So! What'd i miss?" Yaola asked, cocking her head to one side, hands on her hips.

Emily rolled her eyes, where had she come from? Oh well it didn't matter.

"Just a long hike Yaola," she said cheerfully.

"Okay she seems too cheerful," Yaola said to Cheri.

"I know its kinda creepy."

"It isn't creepy," Emily said out loud. "I'm just excited to be able to see my old boyfriend, well technically he's still my boy friend, we never broke up." She rolled her eyes as she spoke, "but he's excused from being held responcible for it."

"There it is" Alles said pointing through the trees. The gate was imbedded in a giant tree.

"Woah....How old is that?" asked Emily.

"The tree is aproximately ten thousand years old," replied Ileria, "Let's get it opened. It's been far to long."

Emily walked up to the tree and put her hand on it, "what do you think I'm supposed to do?" she asked. The tree started to shake and she jumped back.

"Apparently that did it," Alles said as the tree formed an arch, he took Emily and Ileria's hands and walked through, Yaola and Cheri followed.

As soon as they passed through the arch the surroundings changed, it now reminded her of Rivendell from lord of the rings.

"Wow," she breathed.

"Yeah."

Emily heard the crinkinling of leaves and she turned around, "Rick!"

Alles was in obvious awe. His mouth hung open and his eyes were wet with silent tears.

"It's beautiful," Ileria whispered, also crying a little. Emily's hand had slipped out of Alles' as she walked away to explore, but Ileria stayed put. "Do you think the houses are still there?"

"I'm not sure. From here the village looks to be in perfect condition. We probably oughtta catch up before Emily gets lost, or hurt," they began walking together.

"Oh my god it's rick!" Emily called as she ran towards the village.

"Emily wait!" Ileria cried, draggin Alles along, making him hurry. "The village has traps everyhwere!" Too late. Emily fell in a hole that was covered with leaves.

"Emily, can you hear me?" Alles caled down into the hole.

"Yeah..it's dark down here."

"Hold on, don't move." Ileria turned to Alles. "Can you use your magic to get her? You're probably a bit finer tuned than I am at this stuff."

Emily felt herself fading from the bottom of the whole, "Alles are you doing this or should I be freaked out?"

"Start freaking out because its not us!"

calm down Em, it's me.

"Rick! holy hell you need to warn me before you do this stuff!"

She vanished from the bottom of the whole and re-appeared at the top next to rick just out of view of Alles and Ileria. As soon as Emily realized where she was she threw her arms around him.

"Heylo Emily. Should we go back? They seem pretty terrified for you."

"Okay," they walked back into their view.

"Thank the Goddess," said Alles when he saw Emily.

"Guys, this is Rick," said Emily. Rick owed awkwardly before saying hi.

"We need to know," Ileria said, "Where it is you woke when you came here. It may give us a clue as to how to restore the Elves."

"I honestly don't know what happened, it was over three years ago."

"How have you been surviving for three years?"

"The orchards are still thriving, everything is, except the occupency. But that's sure to turn around soon enough." He put his arm around emily as he spoke.

"So there aren't any elves left? At all?" Alles said in awe.

"Not that I've seen," Rick replied.

"Oh..." Ileria was only slighlty taken-aback...ths had been expected, but she was still pretty upset.

"Come on," Alles said suddenly, taking Ileria's hand and pulling her along. "Feel free to explore, or sleep, or whatever," he told the others. "Just stay in city limits and you should be fine. Ileria and I are goign for a walk."

"Are you tired?" Rick asked her.

"Not at all," she bluffed, she was starting to feel tired.

"Yes you are."

She got more and more tired everytime she breathed, "okay I'm tired." Rick swung her onto his back and started walking in one direction.

"How many traps are around here?"

"Thousands, which is why I'm not letting you walk, knowing you you'd falling into the pointy ones."

"I think we need to check out the High Council's chambers." said Alles. Ileria was no longer being dragged. She simply walked beside him.

"Why?"

"There might be a clue there." He pushes the large doors open to the Chambers. It's very dark, but still as clean as they day he left.

"Woah..this is..." Ileria searched for the right word as she examined the building they had entered. SHe had never been in it before.

"Amazing," Alles finished for her. "I know."

"So what exactly are we looking for here?" she asked as she spun around.

"Come here," he said, grabbing her by the shoulders and steering her in the proper direction.

A small projection appeared of one of the High Elves.

"Welcome home, long lost children. I assume that by the time you see this our entire race will be gone. Destroyed by a terrible magic. But fear not. All magic can be reversed...If you find the proper Key."

The image looped back to the beginning.

"But how did they know?" asked Ileria.

"The Elders were a lot smarter than I gave them credit for. Come on, we need Emily."

Rick took Emily to a small house just outside of the traps, he set her down. Her steps were wobbled so he picked her up again. **sorry its so short gotta go**

Alles walked through the city. It's light had gone gray giving the city a feeling of dread and depair.

"This is a bit depressing," said Ileria.

"Yeah but hopefully we can fix it," Alles said. It was easy to find Emily and Rick as they were the only few people in the City. "I wonder where Cheri and Yaola are?"
