Something totally screwed up, without a title

If it hadn't been so windy, it probably wouldn't have been so cold.

"How can you stand this?" Emily shouted, tyring to be heard over the wind.

"It's just as cold for us as it is for you!" Alles shouted back.

"We just don't complain as much!" Ileria added.

"Hey!"

"I'm only speaking hte truth!"

"You are complaining a lot," Rick added. Emily glowered at him and he smiled.

"Well!" she shouted back, "there isn't much good about this situation is there?! I mean aside from finding you!"

Name- Pol

Apearance- Tall, blue-green eyes, dark brown hair, thin

Backround- I have no idea. Or I won't tell you, whichever comes first

Pol rose his hands itno the air and muttered, Hocus Pocus! His fingers twidling madly. There was a puff of smoke and and anvil dropped from the sky, killing Pol instantly.

"She's got a point!" Rick shouted to everyone else.

They reached the compound thingey and entered.

"Oh Goddess," Emily said as she started peeling off her gear, "this feels better than eating chocolate."

They gaped at her, "What?" she asked. "Its warm in here!"

"Of course it is," said Alles, "No one but the penguins can actually survive the cold...Unless you're a genetic freak, of course."

A number of people buslted around the small colony. Most were of the magical sort, unfit to blend in with the rest of the world. An outcasr life in the freezing cold.

The colony was a testament to Human compassion...the lack of anyway.

"Come on," said Ileria, "We need to go see the colony leader."

Ileria and Alles led the way through the colony to where the leader lived. They walked towards the door, adn were stopped by two rather muscular men.

"You cannot enter." One of them said.

"We need to see the Colony Leader." Ileria protested firmly.

"He's not seeing anyone today." The other man said.

"Oh yes he is," Ileria argued, stepping around them and wlaking through the door. Alles, Emily, and Rick were still outside, but Ileria figured she'd get them inside after finding the colony leader and talking him into seeing them.

Alles, Emily, and Rick waited outside, Alles pacing back and forth. "She's taking a long time," he said at last.

"That can't be good," Emily assumed.

"He's hard to persuade, she's probably just getting to him."

Ileria wandered aimlessly for hours before coming to a large, rather ornate door. She opened it and walked into a very formal looking room and found the Colony Leader sitting at his desk, writing soemthing out.

"How did you get in here? I'm not seeing anyone today!"

"I know that, but this is an emergency."

"It can wait until tomorrow."

"SHE cannot wait."

"She?"

"Yes. You know who I mean."

"Well...I...of course. Bring them in." he ordered.

Ileria came out of the gigantic doors and said, "he demands to see us."

THey followed her to his chamber.

When they arrived inside the chamber, Ileria and Alles bowed. Patrick hesitantly did so, but Emily got the strong feeling that she shouldn't do that.

"You're magesty," the Colony leader said and bowed. Alles and Ileria stood. "What is it that you require of me?"

"Assistance," Ileria said, "we must get her to safety."

"She is perfectly safe here."

"The only true safety for this one," Alles said and put his arm on her shoulder, "is her home."

"Her home is sealed," said the Leader, "It has been for ages now. No one knows how to get in. Or if it's even possible."

"We must get her there," said Ileria, "The coming darkness surrounds us at every turn. We dare not stay longer and endanger your way of life."

"I would lose my soul forever before allowing harm come to her majesty." said the Leader scornfully.

"We dont doubt that," said Alles, "but you must understand, she cant attain her true powers and retake the throne unless we get her home."

The Leader thought for a moment. He pressed a small button on a chair, revealing a hidden door, "Beyond is the Grand library of Alshira. I knw not if it holds the answers you seek, but please, use it."

Ileria perked up slightly. Books, now those were her forte (sp?)

"Gah, that's a lot to read," Patrick **I suppose he'd be Rick, only longer** .

"Yes, then we best get going," Alles suggested.
