The legs suck, she should be falling off of her chair, her legs must have some serious super strength, Her feet are broken/ugly/over all just weird looking, and the background sucks (Yes, yes I did say these so you wouldn't mention them) Other than that, though, its really not that bad of a peice. YAY FOR FLAPPERS AND ALL THEIR GLORY! Inspired by Tecor's amazing hair. Personally, I prefer the poor flappers to the rich ones.

It's a neat image, altogether. There's something definitively '20's about her glance and expression.

But she seems painfully off-balance on that stool. I've never seen a human being balance with their legs crossed and braced so far out. Perhaps if there was something behind her, to lean on?

Yeah... I noticed that durring the line art :D I think I just wanted her to stick out from the picture, so I ended up forgetting balance, gravity, etc. while I was creating it. She definately should be falling over and, unless her legs have amazing superstrength, there is no way she could hold them like that.

:D I usually spend about 20 minutes on line art and 1-2 hours with the GIMP. I'm glad you like it!!!!

what's GIMP? I feel ignorant. But this is really good, like, it kind-of reminds me of the old, really good disney animations, before they got all technical and boring. =D This is awesome =D
But that is not the question. Why we are here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come. -Beckett

Really pretty! Something is wrong with her legs, one of her ankles looks so weird. Did you try asking someone to pose?

I think it's great though not so sure about the birth-mark/ freckle on her face.

It is rather ugly, isn't it? Still, beauty marks were big durring the 20's, and the whole look didn't really feel flapperish without it.

To JCobsesed, the GIMP is an art program. Its a lot like photoshop, but it doesn't have quite as many tools.

To Myth, nopes. I never ask people to pose. If its the movement of an arm or something small along those lines I may get my brother or just use my own. I know, I'm a total idiot :D

Very true. I especially love her face, and the mole thing is ugly, but it seems... right.

I love her dress and hair...

Other than the fact that she's painfully off-balanced (girl has some seriously strong legs), this is fantastic! I love her whole attitude. Great job!

Very good, but I don't like the mole. Add a background and it would look more complete.
