Hope you all like it...

Knowing all, knowing none,
playing a game that can't be won.
Playing a game with hidden rules,
playing the game of high school.

Tempting fate, endless stress,
seeking only simple rest.
Like eating an unknown toadstool,
this crazy game of high school.

Like a hatchling, the student waits;
a hatchling dragon not taking the bait.
Playing the game, but not the fool,
in this crazy game of high school.

Why can nothing ever make sense?
Can anything truly recompense
for those who have suffered, both sage and fool,
in this crazy game of high school.
It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. - George Orwell, 1984

It's a nice enough poem. The couplet rhymes add simplicity. In the first stanza the repetition of "Playing" is good.

The unknown toadstool part was quite inventive, it added something colourful and original.

The comparison to a hatchling dragon was rather different, I don't quite see the connection though. Probably just makes it stand out more.

The way you use the phrase "Playing the game, but not the fool" was clever.

Overall the poem was nice and talked about good old high school just the way I know it.
Sing we for joy and idleness,
Naught else is worth the having. -- Ezra Pound

I did enjoy this poem, it flowed easily. 'endless stress' is spot on... :P HeHe.
I am a fan of last line repetition and you used it well.

Why can nothing ever make sense?

This is the only thing I think could be improved on, it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the poem.

Well done overall,

You have great imagery, I must say. Rhyming a little off it some places but it's alright. Not sure I can say I'm a huge fan of the title, I think "Crazy Game" alone would perhaps be suitable. However, "the crazy game of high school" seems to be a bit cliche, but somehow it works for this style of poem. Overall, I thought it was a pretty average piece, but it was rather enjoyable. And for your age, you're off to a good start!

nice poem really liked the "like hatchling dragon not taking the bait" painting the nice picture of getting frustrated and angry with people but not losing your cool...well atleast thats what i got from it.

I liked the imagary of all the magic and different things really makes a good contrast between them and simple predictable high school.
Very nice keep it up.
