I've been walking down a dusty road alone
Whispering softly in the wind
Hoping that you'll hear my cries
Of pain, of sorrow, of everything
That I could feel so deep inside
Breaking me slowly, and killing me softly
I'll just keep walking and I'll pretend
That nothing's wrong and I'm alright
I don't know why I do this to myself
Maybe I hurt myself so you don't have the chance to
Do it first because I know you'll hurt me worse
Than I could ever hurt myself
Now I take a deep breath and I let it out slowly
Another tear falls from my eyes
As I take another step
Another step ahead in life, or even a step behind
I'm falling into a deep depression
A darkness I can't hide
The empty abyss that was once my soul
Consumes my every being
And now I'm lost in this big world
And I don't know what I'm doing
I see people around me laughing and happy
They seem so carefree they seem so perfect
And I wonder why that can't be me
What have I done why can't I be free
Instead of living a life of sorrow
Another tear falls like a crystal drop of water
From a sterling silver faucet
And as it falls into my cup
I lose myself in a world unknown by man
A world all of my own
Where I can be anything I want
And what to do, I am not told
I can say anything and I can do anything
Anything I please
It's just so relaing being there and I wish I could stay
I open my eyes and return to reality and I find myself on the ground
There's a knife by my side and blood spilling from my wrist
Oh my god what have I done?
I didn't mean to do anything, at least nothing quite like this
I was lost in a dream, I wasn't myself and now I'll never be
Gasping for air, I take my last breath
But my eyes are still wide open
And the last crystal tear that falls from my eyes
Falls on a pitch black rose

That was good...and descriptive.

The only thing is in the begining the poem needs some more puntuations.

Keep writing and posting!
