'Ello, Mates!

No, I'm not from Australia, so there was no reason for my subject other than the fact I have run out of creative subjects to use. I'm Spark, if you haven't guessed. Don't call me Sparky. I don't like it. I'm not a dalmation. I'm 15: a sophomore. I write realistic fiction, mostly short stories, but I'm trying to write a novel as we speak. It's slow going. I tend to lose the ever elusive muse to write quite often. Really, what keeps me going is feedback and having other people read my work. And since not many teenagers I know have a passion for writing, this looks like a good place to do it. I hate math and science, love English and history. I challenge myself in school so I don't have a lot of spare time. I have a horse, her name is Lily. I have to pay for everything of hers myself ($400 a month give or take), so I have a job. I live 45 minutes west of Boston. I like to keep writing pleasure not a career, and I'd rather like to be a lawyer. --Spark

Welcome to YWS Spark!

I'm Meg, and although I mostly hang around the poetry forums, I LOVE realistic fiction and I'm really like to read some of your work!

I also hate math and science, although I also hate history. I live in farm country, so we have some horses out here as well--seems we have a lot in common.

Boston is a pretty interesting town, but cold as could be. I was up in Maine, about five hours from Boston, in early January...just a random fact hehe.

Anyway, glad to see you've come aboard the YWS and hope to see you around!

The cold is good to a point, but once it's march and the temperature doesn't get above freezing for a week you start to get tired of it. I want to live somewhere in Virginia or somewhere between hot and cold.
