My name is Maria. I'm young; I write for pleasure for my own sake. I like chick lit because girly stuff is cute.

But yeah, I write mainly poems and short stories. Novels or complete stories haven't been done yet due to my procrastination.

Greetings are very well accepted. :x

Hi there! Welcome to YWS!

I know what you mean with procrastination and not finishing long things. I think I'm a poet because I don't have the patience for anything longer than a few pages.

Yes, yes.

Also, in poetry, abstract and use of metaphors is more accepted. I like mixing things and defying the logic.

Hey hey hey! Welcome to YWS. Call Me Waffles.

I don't like chick lit. Mainly because I radiate manliness, but you know...

Heheh. Welcome. :)

Hello!

I'm Jenna. I'm not a huge chick lit fan, (too much drama for drama's sake,) but there are some good books. Uglies was good, only that's chick lit in the future, so it's different.

Anyway, welcome to YWS! I'll look for your work. In the writing tips section, there are some good articles on getting over procrastination. You could read them. :)

See you!

Daddy Long Legs are more closely related to crabs than spiders and somehow the idea of crablike creatures with spider legs that have escaped the entrappings of the primordial sea and now crawl over land and can walk up and down walls and ceilings creeps me more than I can adequately describe.
