Cole took Sebastian to the cliff where Sapphire lived. She was on her balcony again, staring out into the sky. Cole paused to stare at the way the moonlight reflected off of her face.

Sytri glared at Yessi. How long had it been since she had eaten blood? She had eaten other things, of course, but they never seemed to quench her hunger.
A week, she remembered. She had been offered a meal by a human friend. Not that she drank enough to kill him, just make him dizzy for a couple of hours.

"Bring me a live one. At least they will have a chance of living, that way."

Yessi laughed at her. "Come on, you won't get a decent meal if they live through it!"

Sytri just glared, silent.

Yessi shook her head, a mocking smile on her face, and left the window.

Sytri slumped down, fatique pulling her into a light, restless sleep.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Yessi was choosy about the victim. She found a girl, standing on a balcony, watching the waves crash on the cliffside. She was in her teens, and she seemed innocent enough. Sytri might like company.

Yessi scoffed as the breeze shifted directions. The scent hit her and she growled. A vampire and a demon...
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

(Ack! Sorry, sorry, sorry! Do I have things right?)

Sapphire's head turned towards the noise. It took her eyes a moment to adjust to the dim.

It was her Mysterious Stranger, but there was someone else...a girl. A girl with beautiful blonde hair. And they were fighting. Her jaw dropped, and she moved closer.

"What are you doing?" The question was actually directed to whoever would respond. At this rate they'll kill each other, she thought, the shock of it hadn't really set in.

Yessi dodged a punch and spun on the ball of her left foot, sending her right heel crunching into Cole's ribcage. He fell sideways as the demon came into the fray.

Yessi called forth her dark magic and pinned the demon to a tree. Cole was on his knees, clutching his side and coughing up blood.

A leaf crunched behind Yessi and she turned to find a girl, wide-eyed with shock, staring at them.

Cole caught sight of the girl and scrambled to his feet. "Get away!" He stepped between Yessi and the girl.

Yessi smirked at his action. "Emotion toward a human girl?" She chuckled, an evil plot forming in her mind as a dark veil of mist surrounded her.

She appeared behind the girl, smiling and letting her fangs show. She had found Sytri's meal. What would Cole do if he found out his loyal friend drank from the human he had emotions for?

Yessi grabbed the girl as Cole lunged at her, and leapt off at inhuman speeds.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."

"DAMNIT!!!!" Cole cursed in every language that he new and a few he just picked up somewhere. Now he was going to challenge Yessi and Amord without a plan at all! He leaned his head up against a tree and sighed, still in pain.

"Now it's about more than finding Sytri, where ever they are they are there together, I know it," Sebastian said.

"Sebastian they could be anywhere, even if they are together they could be on the moon for all we know!"

"Cold calm down we can find them."

"Calm? How can you be so calm? I saw the way you first looked at Sytri, you're in love with her."

"Am not!"

"Sebastian are we in grade school?"

"No."

"Then stop argueing, you like her and you're not showing it and when you do all hell will break lose."

"I can control it."

"Now you can, but maybe when your emotions get the beter of you."

"Can we just focus on the matter at hand?"

"Yeah," cole sniffed the air, he could still smell them both. Leaping off at the same inhuman speed he followed it, Sebastian not far behind.
I just lost the game.

((Sorry, I couldn't help the inhuman speed. It was just too funny! Yeah, and sorry this post is so cliche.))

A dozen thoughts ran through Sapphire's mind. What was happening? Why? What would happen to her? And why were they leaping off at inhuman speed?

Vampire. The girl was a vampire. Fear clutched at her heart, its cold fingers numbing her to the core. Then another thought struck her. Was her Stranger a vampire? Her breath caught in her throat. It couldn't be. Could it?

Sytri woke to Yessi opening the door.

"Here's your meal. Enjoy." She shoved in a human girl, and grinned horribly at them, before closing the door and striding away.

Sytri blinked, studying this human girl. Yessi was up to something, she knew it.
The girl looked up at her, shock and confusion in her features.
"You-you're one of them too, aren't you?" The girl trembled, trying to press herself into the cold stone wall and away from Sytri.
Sytri shook her head, trying to clear her head. Something smelt... familiar.
She looked up at the girl. "Look, I never had much stomach for this. What's your name?"

The girl trembled. "Sapphire..."

Sytri advanced slowly, trying to pinpoint what was wrong. She stiffened. "Cole..." She could smell him on her. Faint, but there.

"Oh... no..." Sytri slumped down. This was the girl. But without blood soon, Sytri knew she would faint, and if that happened, she may not wake again without outside help. But Cole would never forgive her if she fed on his beloved.
"What am I going to do...?"

They arrived there quickly, just an old wearhouse. The problem wasn't getting there, it was getting everyone out once they got inside.

"Can you teleport?" Sebastian asked Cole.

"Not here, theres somethin strange about here."

"Alright I can..." Sebastian grimanced, "Cole this is going to seem queer but in order for this to work I have to hug you."

Cole grimanced as well, "Alright." Sebastian teleported them in, right next to Sytri and Sapphire's "room".

"Sytri?" Sebastian asked.

"Sebastian? Is Cole there?"

"Yeah," Cole said.

"You better get us out of here quick." Cole and Sebastian broke down the door.

"Sapphire?" Cole stopped.

"Hey stranger, come to bust us out?" she smiled her beautiful smile.

"No time for talking, we've got to get out now!" Sebastian held on to Sytri as if she was going to faint. "She needs to eat. Like NOW."

"Go Sebastian, I'll follow." Sebastian and Sytri dissappeared. Cole grabbed Sapphire's hand. "I'll explain EVERYTHING in a little while I swear."

"Alright, just get me out of here." They began running.

Sapphire struggled to keep up with Cole's long strides, but she held her own pretty well. She as still confused, but she figured now wasn't the time for an interrogation, plus he had promised to explain things later.

"Hey stranger?" She managed to pant out while running alongside him. He nodded, and she tried to think of something extremely interesting or witty to say. "Umm...you left your jacket."

Sytri leaned against Sebastian, her head spinning. "Wha... where are we?" She doubled over in pain. "My stomach! Oh... I need to eat!" waves of nausea racked her, and she could feel her teeth lengthening alarmingly. "Sebastian... get me some blood... any blood... NOW!"

"I realized the other day, I left my calling stone in it didn't I."

"THats what that was!" Sapphire realized.

"Yes," Cole led them out the door and were suprisingly not met with any problems. When they met Sytri and Sebastian outside the positioning has turned. Sytri was now supporting Sebastian.

"We have to go like now!"
I just lost the game.

Sytri looked up at cole, saw him looking at sebastian and blushed. "He let me! He'll be fine in an hour or so."
She looked at her feet.
"I know... I shouldn't have... but there was no one else around!"

"We'll worry about what the demonic blood did to you later, lets go!!!" Cole kept hold of Sapphire's hand as they ran along the deserted streets. Syti had no trouble keeping up even supporting Sebastian.
