Something really spontaneous I wrote, Its a half poem and half narrative story of a mans psychopathic battles in life. ENjoy

The Five Battles

Zittermore

Your eyes are so sweet, great and seductive. Your heart is whole and fresh. Such a shame, I took a knife and stole it through your flesh.

Rengad
The Army came from two sides with one fowl motion of spearman slicing down the centre. The archers crept from behind and slaughtered the axmen at the rear. Taking my sword I killed all that were near. My own men in fear.

Flogistory
War was over and the world was mine. I decided to study, long and hard. It was a great battle – my mind was numb to learning and the teacher was numb to me. She hated my guts. In fact, she would have loved to cut me and cut me and cut. Me. One night I sneaked beside a tree and took her kindly on my knee, slitting her from ear to ear and listening to her plea.

Ulevar
My education was finished and my mind was calm. I sought work in the high ranks, servant of the lord chamberlain. I loved him dearly, obeyed his whims. Then – a younger me came along, ‘ticing him with dance and song. The lord didn’t last very long, maybe I did wrong

by strangling his neck with Zittermore’s prize bones and skulls and pretty eyes. Why must Ulevar kill me with lies so my soul rots old and dies.

Zittermore Again
When dawn came I stumbled back home and sat in a draughty house where spirits lurked. God-like you and slave-like me warred and tore at our minds together. I won you over, over and over. You were mine once more, in goodness for – a cradle of five battles: a body bag for the bones of my kills and so my ilk can milk your conscious in death.

I really liked that from the start, I was hooked in and I would give that a 9 out of 10.

Well Done!
Always happy to help!

The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.
