Before you go on, yes, I know these poems are pretty sad and don't make much sense but they are meant for laughs only...not to be published. Enjoy.
TORTURE OF THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE...
Here I sit in the waiting room,
awaiting to face my doom.
The doctors don't know why I'm in pain
but if I wait longer I'll go insane.
Just give me some pills
but be careful that I won't want refills.
OOPS I DIDN'T TURN THE CORNER FAST ENOUGH...
I hit my head against the wall
but I did too hard, and now I fall.
Unconscience I lay as if dead,
but hey, at least a coconut didn't fall on my head.
LAUGHTER THAT MAKES ME CRY...
When I couldn't get off my shirt,
I found myself very hurt.
Here came the tears
with a sound that made me cover my ears.
I found myself on the floor
with my siblings shouting for more.
NOTE: ABOUT A YEAR AGO I POSTED A POEM I'D GOTTEN PUBLISHED WHEN I WAS IN THE FORTH GRADE CALLED GARFIELD IS MY CAT. IT GOES:
Garfield is my cat
he's really, really fat.
He's so lazy he drives me crazy.
All he does is sleep sleep sleep,
but when I shake his food box he come running with a leap.
Even though, he'd rather sleep than play
I will still love him every day.
HERE'S THE REVISED VERSION:
If Garfielf really is my cat,
then how come it is me whose so fat?
Well if he's so lazy
then how come it's me who drives him crazy?
All he does is sleep sleep sleep....WAIT!
I could have sworn that was me....REWIND THE TAPE.
When I shake his food box he comes running with a leap?
Maybe that was then but now it's more of Kayla wishing she could leap.
Well if he really would rather sleep than play
then why is it that he's trying to get me to play?
I will still love him every day...I DON'T EVEN LOVE MYSELF THAT MUCH.
I think this poem should end with:
PERHAPS IT IS ME WHO IS THE CAT.
