Without sun... The small fact that it is in French, and that it sounds so darn intriguing would make me pick it up and check the inside flap/back cover. "Without sun" on its own sounds boring, but when its in French? It's great! *I'm a looser*

Makes me think of a puppet show. Just because it's in a foreign language, I'd pick it up and read the back of it.

Emerald Hope

Sounds like historical fiction based in Ireland. I can imgaine a lady in a really pretty green dress so I guess I'll read the blurb and will probably borrow it.

Poorly Kept Girl

This reminds me of Annie. If it were in the young adult section, I would probably pick it up and look at the back, anywhere else I would probably not notice it.

The Cherry Chapstick Expo

It makes me smile to myself, it sounds like a very amusing comedy. I'd probably pick it up, and if I didn't like it then it sounds like something that would appeal to my sister.

Something involving virtual realities and conflict. Depending on the first pages and the blurb, I'll buy or borrow.

Smoke Over Water

Something mysterious and thrilling. I'd pick it up.

Not sure. It makes me think about vegetables. well, it does sound interesting. If you write it I'll have to read it.


Elemental: The Warrior of Wind

Too fantasy cliche. I'd automatically avoid it from the title. Just because I'd expect cheap fantasy cliches with bad writing.

A Thousand Souls

probably a fantasy, sounds like it'd have dark overtones/undertones and a moderate amount of sourcery or other metaphysical stuff. I might give it a glance, if the cover looked intriguing and not too creepy.

A sci-fi, the title is interesting, probably something to do with new technology and I'd pick it up.

Sounds like... Light horror? Is there such a thing? I'd pick it up out of pure confusionl, or if the cover art was good.

Sounds like something comical. I'd read it because I love writing that makes me laugh.

The Cliched Journey Through Fantasyland

Well it sounds like just that--a book that intentionally uses and pokes fun at overused fantasy cliches. I'd pick it up and look at the back cover, maybe flip through it... If it came off as humorous enough, I'd probably read it.
