The main purpose of the RP was just dipping my toes in on this part of the sight. Make a character and hop in, if you're interested at all.

What's The Delta Unit?

The Delta Unit is a part of one of my Novels in the Works, "For the Fair, the Better, and the Worst". They're more often seen in several (almost all) of my short stories on the site!

The Delta Unit is a group of Elite Soldiers under several backgrounds from around the world. Their primary job is to keep the hostile country (in this scenerio, Russia) from destroying the world.

To dig deeper into it, which I should have done previously, around the world are several chemicals. Some countries have chemicals that do different things. Some countries don't have a chemical at all. How these were created, no one knows. But we do know they're from a natural source.

A few things happen, countries fight, and the world decided to keep their chemicals to themselves. But under a discreet mission, Qatar and Egypt mixed their chemicals, proving that these things were stronger than we would have thought. Russia was mad. A war broke out.

The job of TDU is to keep the peace, ensure safety, and prevent Russia from gathering up enough chemicals that could harm us all.

In total, creating this RP was just me dipping my toes in, testing the waters. I need to reconnect with my characters, and thought that a good way to do it was by sharing the world I spent so long creating with others. If it doesn't work, then that's okay too. <3

Yeah, I’ll jump into a hollow blind. I’m gonna make an agent on the “friends in the room” side and set the scene with them. I assume this is roughly real world alternate universe equivalent for setting? “Modern day” ish? (I’m about to post first ask questions later lmao…. I can always edit/remove if needed and will be unoffended to do so)

Question about the chemicals though: so these are harmful chemicals - are the organic/existing in nature native to said countries or lab created? And am I free to invent one/the kind of harm it cause? I assume the chemicals are essentially used to biochemical warfare, hence their threat.

Alright, I’ll make a character then a post and just… run lmao.

Jumping in blind is great! Yes, it's a modern world, military set up. You'll figure out things as they go, I don't believe it's THAT hard to understand the characters.

The chemicals ORIGINALLY are from nature, but when they were found, they were taken to labs for experiments. So, I don't see an issue with you creating a chemical! I, myself, haven't really dove deep into the chemicals of this world, so we only know that the chemical from Russia is heavy, flesh eating, and extremely lethal.

So feel free to experiment and test the waters!
