So, I just watched the whole of seasons 1 and 2 of Full Metal Alchemist in one night.

Warning! Spoilers ahead!

AND THEY KILLED THE BEST CHARACTER AT THE END OF SEASON 2, OH MY GOODNESS THEY KILLED HUGHES! I THINK I'M GOING TO CRY!

Man alive, I haven't been so cut up about a TV character dying since they killed off Tasha Yar in the old Star Trek TNG back in the late 80s...

I know! So sad. And he had a family too. *depression*

Watching two seasons in a night is kind of amazing. And didn't Tasha Yar die twice or something?

Yeah...that was sad. Apparently when my cousin saw that she threw tissues at the TV for...quite a while. Yep...sad...

Yeah its the one with the two brothers. You probably dislike it because it's popular and has a huge fanbase.

That isn't always true. You can hate something for no particular reasons. :)

I like Bleach, and that has a massive fanbase. But like Myth says, I don't really have a reason, I just dislike it greatly.

Full metal alchemist is pretty sweet, we have all the episodes but number 43.... and suposudly a lot of stuff happens in episode 43.

Yes hughes' death is sad, i did not see it coming at all. Really ticked me off too. My older sister didn't watch full metal alchemist for like a month after that episode, i havent really watched too much now that hughes has gone... ):

Is it worth watching?

Someone mentioned Full Metal Panic as well... I've almost finished watching that; just got the last cd of series 3 to watch. Should be fun. :)

*huggles Hughes*

I admit, I cried.
Fraser: Stop stealing the blanket.
[Diefenbaker whines]
Fraser: You're an Arctic Wolf, for God's sake.
(Due South)

Hatter: Do I need a reason to help a pretty girl in a very wet dress? (Alice)

Yeah, definitely; I've never watched masses of Anime, though I started loads and often got frustrated, but this is one I loved right from beginning to end (which it does! no carrying on for years and years, rather nice). Very well made; I like the subtitled Japanese version better than the dubbed American voices, though, they just fit better.

If you're looking to check them out before buying, http://www.allfg.org has the complete series watchable online. Just look under 'Anime'.
