James Cartwright walks through the doors, his overcoat billowing dramatically behind him with each determined step. He approaches (Insert player character here, hereafter known as {PC}. Restriction: Older veteran-style character with a multiple-choice backstory). James's eyes are wild with intensity as he paces back and forth, his movements becoming more frantic, his breathing heavy and ragged. The tension in the air is palpable.

Finally, he stops abruptly in front of (PC). His face contorts with a mix of anger and betrayal as he shouts, "You! I trusted you!"

James resumes his frantic pacing, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turn white. The magical tattoos on his arms begin to glow a bright, electric blue, and his eyes pulsate with raw, uncontained magic that courses through his body like a storm. The energy crackles around him, almost tangible in its ferocity.

After a moment, he halts again, his chest heaving. He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and slowly exhales. As he does, the glowing of his tattoos fades, and the pulsating light in his eyes diminishes, the magic reluctantly retreating.

His voice becomes level and devoid of emotion. "Why did you do it?" he asks quietly, his tone almost eerily calm.

Then, his voice raises an octave as he shouts, "You had no reason! We were good to you!"

(PC) stays silent, not saying anything to James.

James's expression hardens further. "Not that you need to say anything to me," he says bitterly. "What is done is done."

In a sudden burst of anger, James punches (PC) across the face. "Say something, you son of a bitch!"

(PC) doesn't respond, only spits blood out and glares defiantly at James.

The headsman will have his way with you in the morning," James continues, his voice cold and final. "If you still believe in the gods, I suggest you pray
