she stood there for a while and then an arrow came flying at her and landed on the log beside her, she looked at the arrow and her eyes widened "Raver..."

"ah, so you do remember?" his voice came from a tree in front of her which wasn't too far from where she was standing

Aeron kicked a stone along ahead of him on the path. He was still hungry. He was always hungry. Maybe he should go look for some berries or something he could forage.

"why are you here Haru?" she glared at him, her guard up

"shouldn't that be obvious now? i'm here hunting you but first, i have a few questions..." he walked out from behind the tree, his bow in hand

Aeron hesitated as he heard voices up ahead. Why was anyone out this late? He furrowed his brow, trying to decide whether to keep walking or go back the way he'd come from.

"why would you wanna ask me questions?" she stepped back

"i've been watching you, and i've been curious" he smirked, pulling his mask down and walking a step closer

Aeron hesitantly kept walking forward, being sure to stay silent. It was probably just some kids getting drunk or something. He could slip by unnoticed.

she stepped back once again, getting away from behind a tree "whats your first question?" she hissed

"i hear you've been trying to tame a beast instead of killing it, am i right" he was then in front of her a few feet away from her

"that is none of your business!" she yelled it at this point, her grip tightening on the dagger

He furrowed his brow. That didn't sound good at all. He couldn't hear all the words, but he caught enough of them to get the gist. Mina? And someone else? It sounded like a conversation he definitely needed to hear. He edged a bit closer.

"you didn't deny that your trying to tame the beast and befriend it, so, why are you trying to tame a beast like that hm?"

"i never wanted to kill the beast in the first place, all i wanted was to be friend it, but the townspeople won't accept it!" she threw the dagger in harus direction, making it hit a tree and then the dagger came back, scratching his cheek "i wanna tame the beast so i can get away from you, Mr. bounty hunter."

Aeron crouched down behind a tree, listening. Who was she talking to? Bounty hunter?

haru was then in front of her and she jumped back "why are you even worried about me taming the beast in the first place?"

"hm, maybe because hes a wolf of some sort, and we all know how much you love wolves and wanna tame them, but i didn't expect you to try and tame a wretched beast like him, maybe i should kill him since you refuse to..." he smirked and moved closer to her

Aeron scratched his chin, committing the voice to memory. He didn't love the idea of having a bounty hunter after him -- the townspeople were bad enough.

"don't you dare touch him!" she shouted and had the dagger at harus throat

"but, of course i'm not after him, i'm after you, you have rare genetics and you continue to run from me, but, i'm done chatting about this beast, its time i capture you" he pushed her off him

Aeron stood up, biting his lip. He felt like he should go help her. And yet, why should he? He didn't know her.

He hesitated, then groaned internally and started towards them quickly. His conscience wouldn't let him just walk away.

haru had an arrow pointed at her and was a few feet away from her "now, its about time we stop this little chit chat..." he let the arrow go
