Ky hesitated. Both of those seemed like bad options. No chance in hell was she approaching Myna’s cart and certainly not while she wasn’t there. What if she got accused of stealing?! She wouldn’t ever do that. Obviously. But Papa said it was important to avoid the appearance of evil. And especially so when you’re dealing with scary people.
But she didn’t want to talk to the drummers, either.
“Oh.” Ky glanced around, trying to think of another option. A deflection of sorts. “Hey, what’s that?” She started towards another cart at random that had harmless looking vendors, not waiting to see what they were selling.

"Hm?" Sera followed after her. This cart was run by a weathered old man and a boy about Ky's age, both with long untrimmed hair. Dried meat hung from the stand and was laid out on a tanned hide on the counter as well. The old man eyed Ky and Sera, giving them a nod. "Good affernoon, misses!" the boy piped up, grinning to show two missing front teeth. "How kin I help today?"

(All good! They’re not in mine, either. I just feel like if anyone is then Ky would be the type of person to remember what gem goes to what month and she could try to get similar colors for all her siblings in the stones she buys but no worries)
