When you say higher meaning?

Your dreams have subconscious meaning, repressed feelings and desires that your brain processes.

Oh yes… sometimes.

Did you know that your brain can´t create a face by itself? All the faces you see in your dreams are people you have met or seen during the day but forgot about it.

Yes… and it’s scary.

I think that this is fascinating. It shows how much our brain is still controlling us instead of the other side around.

And you see thousands of random people for no reason.

That is also why we have prejudices and stereotypes. The brain makes life easy for itself and thinks in pigeonholes because it could not process the sheer amount of information in a day. If we hear about X from Y eating strawberries, we start to believe that everybody from Y eats (and likes strawberries).

Interesting... did you know we only use about 10 percent of our brain at a time. A pure genius would have the ability to use their brain completely all at once.

I don't think that's right the way you put it, I think that's related to the media and how they present scientific results. I look it up.

I may have a lack of research but I do know we only use certain parts of our brain at one time.

That is true. Take a look at pictures of the areas of the brain that are activated when you read, do math, watch TV, etc.... The individual areas depend on the activity and there are still many areas where researchers do not know exactly what they are used for.

But if I could use two areas at once I could do a task more effectively... there are many outlandish possibilities.
