Yes, I saw that in some documentary. Isn´t that also that they don´t have some bacteria or something so that the male gets incorporated into the female? Or am I totally wrong there?
It's not a bacteria, but they do fuse! There was actually a really interesting paper last year that looked at how the immune system responds to two fish merging into one. Fascinating stuff!
