Habitat use! I looked at movement patterns within a man-made lake at a local university campus c:

Males had a much bigger range that they moved throughout; but females still had more total movement, within their smaller ranges.
Also you end up doing a lot of explaining your research if you walk around a public lake with a clipboard xD
Also you get incredibly angry when you accidentally fall in the water when it's 50 degrees out xD

Oh, yeah, Fahrenheit, sorry! Yeah I was straight up not having a good time that day xD
I tried to show off and catch a turtle in front of one of my friends. I fell off the rock I was standing on and up to my thigh in the water. He helped pull me out 'cause I did like a split from the rock to the bottom, and I also was still holding my turtle. And I'm very angry. And a dad brings his two girls over and wants a mini science lesson. But I force myself to be nice and explain to them what's going on.
Then they walk off and I instantly go back to >:[[[[[ and then dump all the water out of my boots xD
And my friend thought it was hysterical how good I could fake being a happy scientist when I was actually freezing to death and extremely angry haha

Hahaha. That´s funny but also not so. Brrr. You should never impress anybody by catching anything. It´s like some curse. Happened to me so often while getting that one chicken in our garden.
And there was this GIGANTIC frog next to the building and literally the entirety of the other interns are all encircling it chattering about how someone needed to get Shady -- OH SHADY YOU'RE HERE! LOOK! FROG!
Which, granted, it was an excellent frog and I very much wanted to see it xD But hecc that heart attack first thing in the morning over a frog.
