Gaius's right hand twitched spasmodically as he grew a bit more animated. "Take Southern Orthos, for example. It's entirely wet, hot forest with the most bizarre creatures you've ever seen. Things called monkeys that have human eyes and long tails, striped cats even bigger than mountain cats, snakes with eyes as large as a human head. And the people in Southern Orthos..." He trailed off, recalling vividly the strangeness of that continent, the customs and the weather.
