Remy loved not being as cold as he usually was. You would think he'd be used to it after all this time. He closed his eyes and attempted to sleep.

Emile gently stroked Remy’s hair, yawning and attempting to fall asleep as well.

Remy managed to fall asleep. It was different from how living people would sleep . To Remy, it felt like the moment right after he died. Terrifying, but also peaceful.

Emile fell asleep as well. And, for the first time in weeks, he had a normal dream. A normal one. All thanks to Remy.

In the morning, Remy woke up, only to find he couldn't open his eyes. He had frozen them shut again. . He tried to gently shake Emile awake.

"Em? I need help with something.."

“mngh…”

Emile’s eyes fluttered open.

“what is it..?”

"I'm sorry about waking you up but I froze my eyes shut again"

“Oh… that sounds painful… how do I help?”

"I don't know.. but you're warm and I'm not and I can't fix this by myself-"

Remy was starting to panik a little.

“Ok, ok, breath… here-“

Emile pulled Remy closer to his chest. Hopefully that would give him enough warmth to open his eyes.

Remy buried his face in Emiles chest and tried to keep himself from freaking out. Eventually, he was able to open his eyes again

"Thanks.."

“Of course… anything for you.”

Emile smiled at Remy. His eyes were rather pretty… annnnd now he was getting lost in them.

"Anything?"

“Mhm…”

Emile smiled dreamily.

"..Kiss me then.."

Was he serious? Possibly. Did he expect Emile to take him seriously? No.
