"Alright then"

Remy pulled out a sword. A ing huge sword. He went to the monster thingy and they fought for a little while, until Remy managed to make it leave. It would be back, there was no doubt about that. But for now it was gone.

Emile, stunned, stared at Remy for a brief moment, before hugging him tightly.

“Th-Thank you…”

Remy hugged back

"You're welcome. That thing will be back, but so will I. Do you wanna wake up now?"

“I think so… wait-“

Emile realized something.

“How do you know this is a dream..?”

"Well, I was sent here to help you. My job is to go into people's dreams and stop things like this from happening'

“Huh… well… thank you. Really. What’s your name?”

"My name is Remy. I already know your name"

“Remy… alright, it’s nice to meet you. I’m gonna wake up now, but you said you’d be back, right? I’ll wait for you.”

Emile smiled.

"Right. I'll always be back"

“I’ll see you soon, then.”

And Emile woke up, feeling the best he’d felt after sleeping for a while.

Remy left. He actually wanted to come back this time.

Nights passed. Emile’s nightmares turned into dreams, all thanks to Remy. He loved seeing him there, and would sometimes even fight alongside him. Until one night, he defeated the monster on his own before Remy even showed up.

Remy showed up, noticing the monster wasn't there.

"Woah.. did you get rid of him?"

Emile seemed excited.

“Yeah!! I did!! I can’t believe it!! I-“

The excitement faded away as Emile realized something.

“…Does this mean I don’t need you anymore..?”

"No, I'll always be here."
