I like Duffy. We're studying "shooting stars" just now, and its pretty brutal. I like them though.
"Sometimes we see a cloud that's dragonish,
A vapour sometimes like a bear or lion,
A towered citadel, a pendant rock,
A forked mountain, or blue promontory,
With trees upon't that nod unto the world,And mock our eyes with air.."

As people or as poets?

Armitage for both

When i met Duffy she was cold and lacked a sense of humour about her work, Armitage on the otherhand was witty, charming and an interesting person all round.

AND his range isn't limited to feminist twaddle.
Characters are people too you know!

They both write excellent poetry. Hitcher is amazing but I'm rather fond of the laboratory too.Hmmm. Then there's stealing... Sorry, I can't decide.
