I absolutely love the LotR story but I agree the text is pretty challenging to get through. I haven't actually ever finished reading them, although I desire to be the sort of person who has haha

That entire series is my favorite! I could read them again and again. Though I understand how it can drag on.

Yeah! I haven't tried since I was in high school -- I may have better luck with them now. My reading ability has improved tremendously since then haha

*nods knowingly*

It took me like 5 tries to make it all the way through The Hobbit haha

It´s interesting to see that one-half of people like reading TLotR / Hobbit and the other is just: It´s too much.

I read LotR in one go on my first try at 12... And I only had the full collection book. So 1100 in one go.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
