Oma Natalia scrunched her nose and shook her head. "Dear girl, I don't know where they ended up, but it most certainly was not here." She thought a moment as she bent to pick up a napkin Bianca had dropped, and said more to herself, "Though I can hardly suggest that they went to the other place either, so who knows what sort of..." she trailed off, completing that thought in her head.

"...abyss they went to," Dream finished. "But-- well, better for those two to end up together than Father and that crazy Cynthia lady..."

"I wonder what they're all doing now," Sarah said thoughtfully from an arm chair near the picture window as she gazed out. Bianca looked over and stared at her a moment, then silently put down the last few napkins.

The television displayed several fireballs flying off into the distance.

"Oh, that already happened," Wilhelm said. "That's where Sinestra fell into the abyss and apparently didn't die."

Oma frowned at the controller and handed it off to her grandson. "Here, you find what's happening now then."

Behind her, Oma Natalia stood with her arms folded, watching the fireballs fly with a serious expression.

[Oh no XD]

"I'm sure that's not how they meant it, dear," Cataina said sympathetically.

[Is this just their evening entertainment? Watching their suffering family on earth? XD]

Well, I mean, they can have regular stuff, too-- "The Monarchy-- Secrets Revealed" and crap like that.)

The ground shook, and seven bodies were eaten by the earth.

"I... don't think that's how funerals work," Wilhelm sighed.

"It got you in the ground," Natalia said quietly, entirely serious. "In circumstances like that, that's a blessing." Sarah nodded and even old Bianca's sour look melted a few moments, though she pretended to be occupied with something else across the room.

"I'm sorry, Wilhelm," Frederic said sadly. "But look at it this way-- you're here. And there's strudel--"

"Nope!" Dream called. "No strudel! Not coming from this oven! Ugh, why can't Lou hurry up and die?"

"Isn't he the one that cooked mouse?" Wilhelm asked.

"Yes," Dream admitted, "but he also made strudel!"

"Strudel," Sarah repeated. "Mouse. Was there anything he didn't make?"

"He never could cook a pot pie," Wilhelm answered. "Wait. No. That was Avalin. Nevermind."

"They're here!" a female voice called from upstairs. "To the door, Frederic! Snap to it!" Angelica Whitestar hurried down as Frederic made for the hall.

"Oh, finally!" Oma Catalina dropped her crocheting into her basket and pushed herself up from her rocker, moving towards the door on her cane. Sarah was up too, and her husband Max appeared presently from the staircase, blinking at the commotion through his round glasses.
