Don't worry Claudette! My description is terrible too! Except I did like one paragraph when I started rambling about the marketplace ... anyway. The point is there will always be gold amongst all that boring rock!

The thing I like about this the most is that I can see my story coming together, joy joy joy!

I can see the plot in a major way, even if the little pieces are the ugliest things since forever and ever and ever.

My word count is now 3,955. Nice! I'm so ready :-) Lets beat the horse til its dead, and then some!

I'm almost at 5,000, just about to start doing some more. Hopefully get another 1,500 on board. It's only the first day, but I want to get lots done before my month starts to get busy.

I'm loving the way Jack is a tenth of the way through already. I haven't even got a single word yet.

Actually, why am I even here writing this? I should be writing my story!

Almost 7000! :D

A good first day for me, I think. Sorry if I'm annoying people with my enthusiasm! Lol. I've just been waiting so long to get this story on paper, and I'm really enjoying it.

I'm just been writing about a wrestling match, haha. Pretty fun. It's going to need a lot of editing, but I'm only into the second chapter now and I've barely introduced my main character. The thing is, my story is going to be a lot longer than 50,000 words in the end. So that's why I'm writing so much!

I'm glad Jack has all the luck and enthusiasm. ^_^

Holy crap, Jack! You're booking! I hope for all of our sakes this enthusiasm lasts!

Just catching up on my online stuff now--a treat for myself for getting that writing done this morning--and then after I eat lunch I'm going to really write some more. I'd like to get to 5000 for today, but we'll see.

4,000 so far...I bet one of my NaNoBuddies that I could hit 8k, but we'll see how that goes. :P

Ah! It's going so well! ...definitely needs some editing, but hey, I'm writing.

3503 so far, and I'm not even finished the prologue yet.

Oy. Are prologues allowed to be that long?

Ah well. I'll probably edit off a whole bunch in December anyway.

Cass >> same. I keep thinking "I would not keep that sentence if this wasn't NaNo."

But luckily my inner editor hasn't got in the way yet!

Mine hasn't either! Let us rejoice!

Gah. I am sooo tired of writing this darn prologue. It's 4092 words right now. Ew. I've spent all day writing my prologue! Maybe I'd move a little faster if I were writing the actual story...I haven't even introduced my main characters yet! *grumble grumble* I'm going to either write 5k tonight or finish this prologue, whichever comes first. x_x
