Um, Beanie Babies? Does no one remember this phenomenon? I had fifty-three... and still have them all. Somewhere.

To echo what some people have said before:

- Pogs
- Yoyos
- The Big Breakfast
- Live And Kicking
- Oasis (I was in Manchester ...)
- Power Rangers

I babysat my friend's furby once and had to go to the dentist on my way to her house to bring it back to her, and it started talking in my bag in the waiting room >.< Everyone was looking around like whaa...and there was me like, dum de dum...

Anyways. Marbles? Our school went through that phase, somewhere in between pogs and tazos and yo-yos.
Matt.

you know you grew up in the 90s when...

you compare everyone you meet to someone from Saved by the Bell

you spent every break time playing power rangers, tamogotchis, pogs or swapping Pokemon cards

you know all the words to the Fresh Prince of Belair rap, the Pokemon song and the Friends theme tune

you know exactly where you were when Princess Diana died

Live and Kicking was the reason you woke up

you cried when robbie williams left Take That, watched the Spice Girls movie obsessively and were completely in love with Nick Carter

you knew all the words to every Spice Girls song ever

you weren't cool unless your runners flashed and you had a brightly coloured puff jacket

Wow. I feel old. I was born in the '80s when crimped hair and leg warmers were popular. I had a pair when I was in early elementary school.

What do I remember from the 90s?
Fraggle Rock
Popples
My Little Pony
Care Bears
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (duh?)
Hey Arnold!
Doug
Carmen San Diego
Rocco's Modern Life
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Rainbow Brite
Strawberry Shortcake
David the Gnome

Snap bracelets.

When my parents still had 8-track tapes and vinyl records and played them regularly.
Cassettes.
Nirvana. Spice Girls. Nine Days. NIN. Incubus. Hootie and the Blowfish (still one of my favorite bands because they're just so damn good - and everyone mimicks their style anyway). Greenday's beginning. Offspring. Sting. Garbage. The Corrs. Cake. Natalie Imbruglia. Ben Folds Five. Third Eye Blind. Bare Naked Ladies (the fact that "Stunt" came out when I was in 7th grade still blows my mind. It's STILL awesome and played on the radio all the time.) The Cranberries. Fat Boy Slim. Metallica. Dave Matthews Band. Rammstein. Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Goosebumps books.
Oregon Trail!!!
Babysitter's Club

Columbine. I'm from Colorado, so that was especially close to home. I was in history class when they announced the shootings. As Gal mentions below... I went home with her that afternoon and we watched the news all afternoon long. Our childhoods ended that day.

One show I miss on Nick:
All That.
And I mean the ORIGINAL cast, not the newer one that got it canceled >.<

I can even remember when SPONGEBOB was first introduced... Sometime in 1999 or summat...

I can even remember when the US won the Women's World Cup. And what's-her-face threw off her top xD
